Richmond Academy of Dance
I would not recommend this place. It is not flexible. If you are attending a dance class elsewhere, they will automatically withdraw you and hold a month tuition fee. Policy is misleading. You will never find program information and schedule online. You don't get to talk to a teacher or program director if you have questions or complains. They just don't care! Parking is also a nightmare. I am super annoyed with them. I would recommend going to other studios where you get better communication or direct communication. Students to teacher ratio is very bad too. One teacher vs 14+ kids.

Richmond Academy of Dance
For the past 6 years 2 of my children have been heavily involved in Richmond Academy of Dance programs. They offer the finest in training including ballet, musical theatre, voice, acting and a variety of other dance styles. All of the instructors are top level. Their programs are award winning, rigorous and designed to bring out the best in all of their participants. Our son recently graduated from the Academy and was so encouraged that he has moved onto a University level Musical theatre program. Richmond Academy of Dance provides professional and vibrant training where children experience confidence, growth and excellence in the performing arts.

Richmond Academy of Dance
I took dance classes at RAD many years ago when I was in high school and loved my time there! Recently, I found out they offer fitness classes for adults! I took my 2 week intro and the staff was kind, friendly, welcoming, and ready with modifications. All the classes are well thought out and an incredible workout! Highly recommend!

Richmond Academy of Dance
I have started taking classes through the new program, RAD Rise, and they are FAB. I have taken Tatiana's Pilates Foundations as well as Brianna's Cardio & Core. Both left me feeling super satisfied and energized. I took the classes over Zoom, and the instructors were super professional - doing a good job at catering to those inside the class as well as online. Looking forward to more classes!

Richmond Academy of Dance
Trained at Richmond Academy for 10 years. The training, my teachers, and lifelong friendships will stay with me forever. I trained intensely in all disciplines - jazz, lyrical, modern, tap, musical theatre, acting, and with the half-day ballet program. 10 years later in London, I'm still dancing as a profession, and the quality of my versatile training is always carrying me. The tight knit community of Richmond stays close to my heart and I know they will continue to hone the future.

Richmond Academy of Dance
I've started taking the RAD rise fitness classes and they're great! A really good workout and fun to do! The instructors are awesome. My personal favourite is the Pilates class! Highly recommend!

I took some virtual classes with RAD Rise and it was the best. The instructors were knowledgeable, energetic and helpful (always checking in with the virtual people)! Not to mention the workout was amazing! I felt so good/strong afterwards. Thank you Richmond Academy of Dance!!

Excellent professional dance school providing some of the very best dance training in the Lower Mainland. The class size is small so each student receives focussed instruction and has the option of various dance styles to round out their education. The staff and teachers are very approachable and helpful with any concern. The studio has a wonderful, friendly, yet professional atmosphere.

Outstanding multi-genre dance, acting and voice instruction. The studios are spacious and bright. The teachers are caring and professional. This school sets and achieves high standards of discipline, artistry and performance through a supportive, passionate and collaborative learning environment. For nearly a decade, my children have attended classes in all disciplines in both the general and professional divisions. Their growth and achievements on and off stage are direct results of the nurturing culture & amazing training.

I grew up at this studio and I owe them everything! It was the most amazing place to grow up, mature and be educated. I am now a professional dancer in Vancouver and I often think about the many opportunities that Richmond Academy provided me that have led me to the career that I have today. I have made life long friendships here and I am so grateful for every single staff member that shaped me into who I am today. So much love for this place.
