My kids and I sat for many hours sketching the landscape into our journals. This is one of my happy places and I could stay here indefinitely...

A wonderful and diversely magical part of Lake Huron in the Georgian Bay area. This is Anishinaabeg and the Huron-Petun peoples land historically. Treat it with respect. Take only pictures and leave only footprints.Artists of all mediums find their muse here. You may find your inner artist crying to get out after visiting this part of the Laurentia bioregion.A place for solo treks and family hikes. The weather brings a wealth of conditions that demand you pay attention, whether hiking, kayaking or canoeing. Just because a day starts calm and sunny, don't assume it will stay that way. Come prepared, be prepared. The weather spirits and the Wendigo walk here.100,000 places to sit and observe the beauty of this incredible biodiversity. Come for the day, or the week. You will be forever changed by what you find.
