Very nice park, a lot of dogs off leash. You sometimes can be easy to get lost make sure you have your Google maps ready

Cool little rock. If you have a crash mat and some climbing shoes you could probably do a few little problems on it. Cool rock to go check out

Glacial Erratic At Nose Hill
Obviously the first place I take my kids on the east side of Nose Hill park. They love climbing this rock! There is a great view of downtown, paths are always in great condition, and makes for a nice quick getaway within the city.

A windy Saturday morning at Nose Hill. Three pooches looking to run and explore. Coffee flask in hand and suitably dressed for the elements...in this case a nippy wind. All this and a glacial monolith!There is no better pick me up. Fresh air, rejuvenated plants, budding trees, singing birds, romping pooches, tasty coffee and feeling at one with nature.It is easy to not appreciate that you are visiting an artefact that has been visited by many before you. Take some time and let it sink in.What's not to enjoy.....

Glacial Erratic At Nose Hill
Turtle Rock at Nose Hill Park is an iconic landmark. Centuries old with history dating back to the plains Indians and were buffalo roamed. Buffalo would rub up against the rock for itch relief. This area is inside the City and easy accessible for a days hike or dog walk.
