Whitewood Campground

A very cute little campground in town just off the highway!Easy to book online last minute after the first campground we went to was suddenly closed. A great nights stay on the way across the country.Clean bathrooms, showers, if on vacation we would have enjoyed the community pool and if golfed the corse right next to it.

Cute site! The grass was soft and beautiful, my fire burnt well in the pit, my tent staked easy, and the tree cover was great. It's right next to 2 petrol stations, one of which I know has a diner with good food. Super convenient location if you're travelling through the country. Only reason it doesnt get 5 stars from me is that the rest rooms looked maybe a grade or 2 above a highway rest stop as far as cleanliness. That said, flushable toilet and hot water, so I didn't complain.There's a pool and a kiddy park there as well as a baseball field and plenty of room for kids or dogs to play.

A neat, well kept little campground, right beside a fantastic golf course at Whitewood, SK. There is a ball diamond, playground, splash park and a swimming pool, although the splash park and pool are closed for renovations this summer.There are some fully serviced sites, although we found the large grassed sites with power and water really good. The sites are very well maintained, but are a bit open to any wind.Archibald's diner is a short walk away and offers great food at affordable prices.

This was a quick stop over on our cross country drive. It was clean and quiet and we had really kind neighbors. The power for the sites was a bit finicky and we had to share our power outlet with our neighbors because theirs wasn’t working. Reserved in advance through the website. The toilets were fine, I didn’t have a shower bc I’m a bit picky when it comes to showers. You also hear the trains go by as it’s close to the tracks but that didn’t bother me much. None the less, I would stop here again without hesitation.

Booked a campsite through the website. When we arrived someone was in it. There is no admin office and no one answered the phones so we just took another site. The campsites were sopping wet, could not access water or electricity without wading through water. I was concerned we would get stuck. Not ideal.

Every amenity, easy to reach from the highway, perfect spot if driving through. Beware of the train that passes by.

We stopped on a Monday night. We enjoyed our site and the peace and quiet. Very beautiful campground.

Super cute campground with all services. Nicest city campground we’ve seen in a long time. Right next door to the public pool, golf course, and ball diamonds. Only wish there was a game on!Thank you Whitewood for the beautiful campground. On our way from the west coast to Ontario and this has been the highlight so far.It was so darn cute we had to stay here on the way back too! Very well maintained and quiet.**Addendum** Just had someone say they had booked our site online. There was no Reserved sign on the space when we arrived. He was very understanding, but there seems to be a disconnect with the online booking and the actual sites. There were Reserved signs on two other sites but ours was available when we arrived.
