The Room

I’m a new client to The Room and I really appreciate the professionalism and client focus. Faren is an experienced stylist with excellent colour skills. She’s collaborative and offers great suggestions!! I love my blond pixie cut!!

I have been getting my hair done at The Room since 2014 when it changed ownership. I mostly see Alison, however, I have seen other stylists over the years. Alison always does an amazing job with my hair and it always looks amazing and feels so healthy! In addition, I have many family and friends who have had hair appointments at The Room.What I would say about The Room is all employees that I have encountered are educated, professional, and great listeners! It seems as though The Room aspires to be more than the average salon always participating in ongoing education for staff and learning new techniques that any customer may want.Also, The Room always keeps a fresh look to the salon and has had many exciting changes over the years!If you are looking for a salon or to try a new salon, give The Room a try I was not disappointed and I do not think you will be either!Cheers,K

Farin & Jaslynn did such a phenomenal job on mine and my friends hair cuts! They feel SO healthy! The girls there are incredible, and the price was great! Highly recommend!

I can't say enough about The Room and the stylist I recently booked in with, Jaslynn. I was able to grab a very last-minute appointment in their easy-to-use online booking portal. I'm talking just over an hour between booking and being in the chair late on a Thursday evening!The booking was with Jaslynn. Although it was toward the end of the shop's hours, she was still pleasant and chatty. She listened to my scatter-brained requests ( I never have a clear idea of what I want, and no matter what, I usually don't like the results, lol). Jaslynn did a really great job of deciphering it all, cleaning up my butchered bangs (self-inflicted), and giving me great texture despite my fine hair. I'm really happy with my cut!

Brilliant place. Not too expensive. Professional very skilled stylists. Like Jaslynn who gave me the perfect haircut today. Highly recommend. Located in the cathedral area.

The Room is a salon where I feel welcome, comfortable, and confident in the staff. I mostly see Alison for my hair appointments, and I don't even hesitate to let her recommend a new color, style or trial new products on my hair. I know that I will leave feeling refreshed and beautiful! I have seen Rylee for other services, and mostly recently waxing. She is gentle, professional, and so kind! The staff are al very friendly, helpful, and welcoming, they always make me feel at home. I stopped by the other day to pick up some products for myself and my husband. Someone I've never met before jumped right in to help answer my questions about selecting a new shampoo and conditioner and recommended the right products for my type of hair. I have been a loyal customer of the Room since Alison start working there, and I am amazed at how she has grown her business and transformed the Salon since she took over the ownership. I wouldn't go anywhere else! <3

I was quoted $70 for a colour with a junior staff. This was my second visit so they knew me. The guy did his best, for a newbie, but my hair was not dried properly and the owner who should have been supervising saw that he wasn’t doing it correctly and ignored it.The hurtful thing is that my bill was padded. New Talent Colour $70.Add Colour $20Add styling $25?? What styling???Chem cut $32 ( they clipped the ends) ??? Colour product charge???? $15.54 ????? Green circle colour - $1.50????Total $173!!!!!!!!After all that had to go to another salon to redo my hair as it was dry and frizzy.

I had a very good experience with Catherine. I was very comfortable with her. Always smiling and did a great job on my hair. I will definitely be back .
