Shawn is fantastic - he is punctual, detailed and an excellent musician. My son loves training with him and has advanced his skills and confidence behind a drum set. Great teacher and absolutely excellent with kids. Can't ask for more in a music teacher!

The drum school is amazing. Our 5 year daughter has been asking to learn to play the drums since she was 3. Got the drums at age 4 now what. Look for a teacher right? The drum school is the place to go. Our daughter has just begun to play and is loving every minute of it. Shawn is an amazing teacher and is making learning fun for her.

The Drum School" has been a very fun way of learning drums for both of our boys! Shawn delivers the best musical experience in the convenience of your own home. Our boys are excited for every drum lesson and as parents with hectic schedules learning at home is great! Shawns educational

I rate the drum school five stars because just 2 months ago I couldn't even play a quarter note and now I play better than ever.

Unfortunately our experience with Shawn was problematic. Although he was punctual and cordial in each visit, he spent up to 75 % of each lesson chatting with my son rather than teaching him. We transferred to private lessons from Long and McQuade's in Pickering to try and accelerate his ability, not hinder it. After speaking with Shawn about this, things changed for a short while but quickly went back to the way things were. When I asked Shawn about this and the option for a potential progress report, or to start focusing on a song or two that my son could practice, Shawn simply said he did not feel that he would be a fit for my son anymore and quit. Worst of all, he quit without saying goodbye to my 11 year old son after a year of teaching him, leaving my son to feel quite abandoned. This was extremely unprofessional and distasteful. Save your money and go to the professionals.

Shawn is a great instructor. My 12 year old has found a passion for drumming and is improving with each lesson. My son looks forward to his one hour lesson each week with Shawn and shows an admiration and respect for his instructor and his style of teaching.Highly recommend
