Terry of Big Boy Garage Doors responded quickly to my call after I discovered my garage door torsion spring was broken. He was very accommodating to all my questions on the replacement process, correct replacement torsion spring type, and correct set-up. He made recommendations on other worn parts replacement and gave me all the facts on why he thought replacement may be a good idea, without pushing them as absolutely required immediately, and even advised me on what and where to buy the parts if I wished to do it myself later. I had already done some research on the replacement of the failed torsion spring and can say that Terry is definitely an expert at his trade. His pricing was spot on what his competitor was offering, without any haggling, and was very reasonable. I will definitely be calling Big Boy Garage Doors if I have any other doors issues.

Last summer i bought a newly built house in construction filled Summerside. A few weeks in our new garage door got dented somehow. The builders who were currently building all around us denied responsibility and left me with buying a brand new garage door. Most quotes were in the multiple thousands. Then a friend recommended Terry. He was there quickly and pointed out a few things I didn't know. His quote was already the cheapest by far but when the work was nearly done, he reduced the price even more to help me out. Work was done great and he even returned a few days later to make sure everything was working perfectly. Fantastic installation! Had a 2 inch thick insulated door with Chamberlain belt drive opener installed. Not a single gap after install, double rubber seal as well as new spring, track and remote opener. Installed within a week of calling!! Very pleased with overall experience.

I needed urgent repair of our garage door on a Sunday. They answered the phone when I called and came as arranged within 2 hrs. Mo assessed the situation quickly and was able to repair the track on the spot, quickly and efficiently solving the problem. To top it all off he only charged me for a service call and there was no upcharge for a weekend call. I would highly recommend him.

Our 35yr old garage door finally died for good. Sent out a bunch of requests for quotes and Terry was the first to get back to me and even showed up a couple days early for the quote visit because he was in the area. The quote came in the lowest price but more important Terry was able to install the new door three days later because he had it in stock. The quickest We could get a new door installed from anyone else was 10wks. The installation was quick, and the door and work is awesome.
