When we bought our house, the backyard looked like it had not been looked after for several years. We hired UrbanTerra Landscape & Design and they completely transformed our backyard into an oasis that we will be able to enjoy for years to come. We are looking forward to many springs and summers out there enjoying our space and we have Steve and his great team to thank.

Steve presented a great design and he and his team worked with us to refine and adjust based on our preferences. He was always responsive and the follow up to finish the final details was great. His crew were pleasant, polite, respectful and were fantastic in cleaning up everyday - not an easy feat with mud and dirt! The end result has the right balance of lighting, texture and peace. We couldn't be happier. Would highly recommend.

If you want a white glove service, i 100% recommend going with Steve, and the team at UrbanTerra. From beginning to end, they're by far the most responsive, and professional contractors that i have ever worked with. Their quality of work speaks for itself, but the small things are what makes UrbanTerra an A+ company. From the moment we met Steve, we knew he took pride in his work and that we would have a good working relationship. This was our 2nd major landscaping project and we were excited hiring Steve and his crew at UrbanTerra Landscape & Design. He came in highly referred from our pool contractor (Pool Builders Ltd.).Steve was attentive to details, listened to our suggestions and provided his professional opinion. He was not pushy and allowed us to express our style. After our first meeting, he provided a draft 3D plan which included all the aspects we had discussed. During the course of the following months, he kept in touch with us on several different occasions, working on refining the plan to our liking. He even went as far as providing us a webinar to present his changes.We knew that a major landscaping project can become overwhelming since most clients feel like they have to become somewhat of a general contractor. However, Steve took that stress away.He kept in touch with our pool builder. He was there during the original map out. He showed us exactly where the pool, interlock, fence, shed, lighting & plants would be installed.Once the pool was completed, Steve and his crew were present on site every day. His team was very professional (no summer students or sub contractors). You actually get his crew from beginning to finish. His team members know the trade. Professional, on time, non smoking and clean (they tidy up before the end of day, everyday).There were not cutting corners with UrbanTerra Landscape & Design and no unexpected surprises during the project. The excavation was done properly at 18 inches or more. The backfill was done with ¾ clear stone everywhere. Compacting was done correctly. Concrete edging was used (not plastic). If Steve had the slightest hesitation, he met us and presented suggestions (he did not decide changes on his own just so he can advance on his work). He also collaborated with our fence contractor and irrigation company in order to schedule the work accordingly. Contractors did not overstep each other while Steve was in charge. On top of all of this, Steve took time out of his schedule to visit a nursery with us and help chose all of our plants and trees. He also dedicated a few hours of his time to explain the maintenance for each tree/plant.The end result exceeded our expectations. Steve and his crew truly built the backyard of our dreams in the exact time scheduled. They also made the front of our house look stunning. We couldn’t be happier to have hired UrbanTerra Landscape & Design for our landscaping project. They are without a doubt in a class of their own.

Steve is a very attentive and detail oriented designer who has proven to be exceptional in working with stone, lumber and plants. We gave him a blank slate with our property and he has transformed it into a dreamscape. He and his crew is respectful, hardworking and efficient. We had work done by UrbanTerra in August 2019 and it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end.
