Cabot Trail Adventures
Highlight of our trip! Our family has kayaked a handful of times, but never on the ocean and we had an amazing morning taking the half day tour with Michael. He is an excellent tour guide, sharing lots of ecological and historical information along the way, as well as really thorough safety instructions. The views looking back at the landscape from our boats were incredible, this one is not to be missed!

Had a great bike tour with Mike. This area is where he grew up, lives and works. His knowledge and stories of the area made the trip. He's not just some guide who parachutes in for the summer season. The biking was easy and the finish at Hideaway with the oyster tasting was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Michael's family has lived here for generations, and he has fished here for years. He knows every corner of the Cape, every type of wildlife, and every story. He's a great storyteller, and has organized a terrific mix of paddling, swimming, and bird-watching. Bonus, he serves oatcakes that his mother bakes, possibly the best in Cape Breton.

Cabot Trail Adventures
Really enjoyed the half day kayak tour, despite challenging conditions in strong winds. Michael was a great guide and helped us along the way. He and his lovely family were super nice. Very nice gear too. We saw loons, several bald eagles and even a grey seal kept a watchful eye on our group. It was a great way to spend a morning followed by lunch in Dingwall.

We had an amazing 3 hour kayak trip. Michael was very knowledgeable about the history and the geography of Cape North. Had a great time with amazing views of breathtaking landscapes that you can’t get from land. Definitely the highlight of my Cabot trail adventure.

Beautiful inlet to kayak in! We did the two hour rental which was perfect for us. Staff were friendly and efficient. They also provided wet bags for our things, which was really helpful. If you'd like a tandem kayak, either arrive early or call ahead as they're very popular.

It was a really nice experience to explore the ocean in a kayak. The staff was friendly and supportive. First of all they take our name and signs. Then they provide us with life jackets which are mandatory for everyone. Then they gave us kayaks and explained to us how it works. How to make a kayak turn and all. There was a staff member name sky he was nice and friendly. We were in a group and had so much fun doing kayak.

Went on a terrific guided kayaking tour. Our guide, Michael, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The scenery couldn’t have been more beautiful. I highly recommend this experience!

We had a fabulous time kayaking with our tour guide Mike. He has a lot of local knowledge and made us feel comfortable. The scenery along the way was beautiful and we especially enjoyed the beach stop with tea and biscuits. Great family run operation, we highly recommend it!
