Tonight I had the chicken quinoa power bowl at Crabby Joe's in Petrolia. Being a big fan of healthy dinner salads, especially power bowls, I was very disappointed. The first thing I noticed was it was a small portion for a dinner salad. It also looked like it had been thrown together quickly, and I soon discovered it was missing two key ingredients being the avacado (the first ingredient listed for this item on the menu) and the chickpeas. When I brought this to the attention of our waitress I was told the avocados were too hard to put into the salad, and I was offered an order of guacamole as a substitute, which was DISGUSTING! It had the super smooth texture and bland flavour of baby food, and quite obviously came from a mass-produced tube. If I had been told when I placed my order that they didn't have fresh avocados or chickpeas, I would have ordered something else. I'm not a picky eater at all, and I don't expect fine dining cuisine at Crabby Joe's, but I do expect a half decent salad for $18.99. What I received was far below what was expected.

Food was absolutely delicious! Service was friendly and prompt. I took off 3 stars because they gave my daughter her drink in a cup that had previously been used for crayons. Her drink tasted weird and there were clear crayon marks all over the inside of the cup. I didn't appreciate that, but, every bit of our meals were delicious. The mash was great, the chicken fingers were great, the french fries were great and The Big Joe was absolutely phenomenal and lived up to it's name 100%. Great food as always in any Crabby's but it's the only dinner restaurant in town so it's very busy some nights and they just don't have enough staff to keep up. We went for dinner after a show and it took 2.5 hrs.

I personally don't care for loud music and a loud atmosphere, but I'm more of a homebody haha , but the servers were amazin, quick, and friendly!But my steak was small but still really tasty and the steak sandwich was also phenomenal! No one with me had any complaints it was good!

Crabby Joe's is a good place to dine. If you're out on your own, it's a very comfortable place to go. Staff is awesome. Food arrive hot and with not a long wait.

Visit on August 17, 2020, party of 3 for lunch. Pandemic precautions in place. Mobility impaired accessible. Clean and comfortable atmosphere. Staff were great, very knowledgeable with menu items, and friendly. Good selection of beverages and food. Order of Texas Crunch burger and Edgy Veggie Burger. Food served promptly and was delicious.

Called at 11am to order takout lunch for noon. Called twice phone went om hold and hung up, thought that was weird so figured I would try one more time. A man picked up that time but was clearly not impressed- he was rude and didn't even finish taking my order or ask for my name for the pickup before he hung up on me. That's when I realized the other calls were clearly hangup calls as well. I am blown away - I have never had service like that, if your to busy just state that but it's 11am on a Friday so I should be able to order some lunch without attitude from an employee. Manager didn't seem to care either & just said they would deal with it but didn't seem like she actually had any intention of doing so.

Arrived about 12:15 on Sunday. Seated promptly & a waitress came right over. Ordered food & drinks. Coffee was luke warm, & waitress quickly replaced with hot coffee. Food came. French fries were barely warm. For the price of restaurant food these days, we were very disappointed. Thinking our next trip to Theatre wont include a stop at Crabbys.

Well we waited for like 15 minutes before anyone came to serve us,and then it took another 15 minutes for drinks to arrive. We had a Birthday,and we ask about a small cake,they said they do not sing,and could see if we could do candles,which we had,and we gave them so they could put on a Sunday,but we ended up doing that,and waitress had to track down a lighter. Waitress was very friendly and nice,just seemed overworked. Food was excellent
