I'm so grateful to have found Screen Acting Academy here in Ottawa and even more for Mike! I wouldn't trade him for anyone else for my mentor. Thanks to him and other coaches, I have more confidence in my skills and am eager to learn more.

The Screen Acting Academy has been instrumental in beginning my acting career!I went into the screen acting classes fearful and unsure of what to expect and left with all the tools and knowledge I need to succeed in this industry. The teachers and fellow students created a safe environment to fail and to explore our craft. Mike’s coaching, management, and guidance have been invaluable. I am now signed to Edna Talent Management Toronto, thanks to SAA’s career advice. Not to be dramatic, but my time at SAA has been nothing short of life-changing. Thank you for giving me the tools and encouragement to walk in my purpose.

I can honestly say Screen Acting Academy has become my home and go to place to learn about the film industry. You will NOT find a better place in Canada to study. It is an amazing experience to study under experienced and professional directors and actors, many of which I have seen on TVor in movies.

I have been taking classes with Your Casting Academy off and on for about 3 years now. Founder Mike Migliara is a first class instructor and acting coach. There are other great coaches who teach there as well, including Dan Garcia, who I am currently studying with. Your Casting also offers phenomenal self-tape services. When you go to Your Casting for a self-tape you are not only getting a technically superb product, you are getting the benefit of great coaching during your performance. Tapes are done on a very quick turnaround which is so important as we are all up against tight deadlines. I highly recommend Your Casting Academy!!

I am a recent graduate of the Screen Acting Academy. As an experienced stage actor who aspires to break into the film and television industry as a screen actor, I cannot be happier with SAA. When I met Mike Migliara for the first time outside the studio for my first class, he impressed me with his forthright manner and knowledge. In addition, SAA’s Instructors have a keen eye to spot performance errors that make them simple and easy to fix.SAA’s curriculum is a perfect blend of classroom and practical instruction in acting for the camera. SAA’s instructors offer constructive criticism, and they always inspire confidence in the process.I am currently enrolled in the Acting with Your Voice course. To date, the training I received on and off-screen has been invaluableFinally, the fees for the courses are very reasonable; trust me, you get what you pay for and then some.

Top notch training! The instructors were all fantastic who genuinely loved to teach and encourage the best out of their students. My son took all 4 levels of on screen training and 2 levels of Voice acting training and loved it. In one year he went from knowing nothing to feeling confident and ready to start auditioning. It is well worth the investment for anyone interested in On Screen acting / Voice Acting!

I’m a Former SAA Graduate, If your looking for an academy to train to become an actor ready for the screen, then this is the place for you. My experience with the academy was like non other, I had a privilege with learning and working with the man Mike Migliara and the most professional and talented staff who guided me to becoming a better actor and most importantly improving my craft as an actor. After taking not only The Screen Acting Program but Acting With your Voice, Just Scenes(Online & In Studio), Etc Etc I not only improved my craft but became ready for the business and most importantly THE SCREEN. Thanks to Mike, I now have the best Ottawa agent Meus Talent Agency, Lisa Meuser and am auditioning all the time!

Screen Acting Academy is not only where I learned a lot about acting, it is also where I found myself reborn as a new person. In 4 levels of training, the greatest acting teacher I ever had, Mike Migliara, the founder of the academy, taught us step by step how to act, audition, and get ourselves involved in the movie industry. I took both acting, and voice-acting classes in the academy, and I received the training that prepared me to enter the movie industry. What makes Mike Migliara and his academy different is not only his knowledge, but also the fact that he cares a lot about his students even after their graduation. He helped me sign a contract with one of the top level agencies as an actor and voice-actor. I owe Mike Migliara a lot in acting, and I wish he and his academy keep making dreams come true like they did that for me.
