LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services

Went here twice to leave a sample. Fri Dec 23. Closed due to weather. I manage to make it. Dec 24 problem with the power so couldn't take my sample and gave me a container then said I don't need an appointment to just drop it off at another lifelabs. Went to the king Ed location on boxing day guess what..closed due to weather. Now at round house location and treated as a walk in and waiting 30 min to leave a sample. C'mon guys you can do better. Need some alternatives as a monopoly has no incentive for providing better service.

2 stars for the friendly staff at this location, no stars for lifelabs. This is what privatized healthcare gets you - long waits and overworked staff. Do better and hire more people, I’m sure you have the money for it.

Wow unorganized and understaffed. Pretty sad as this privately owned and they must make huge money being the company Healthcare users for most of its requisitions. Do better. Also your website it constantly glitching.

40 min wait for walkins at 10:50am in a stuffy corridor, no skiptheline checkin. Appointments or line up only

17 years living in Vancover, and it was my worst medical experience ever.The colored woman-no offense, I’m brown myself- at front desk is irresponsible, rude, arrogant with zero interest in helping people. Ended up waiting there for 2 hours for a simple blood test, paying $10 more because she didn’t bother to put my requisition form through, telling me to pay online which caused me to pay through a scam website and get charged $56. Extremely unknowledgeable, no apology. Her colleague had to apologize several times to me, and she was hiding in the back, while there was a huge lineup of patients, and everyone was complaining. My first and last visit of this awful lab.

Staff are always polite and helpful, waiting time is reasonable even without appointment.

This is supposed to be a private lab.... I called in advance, explain I have a prescription for bloodwork from out of province and am told that the best care will be given to me". Do not believe a word they tell you as this is the most appalling lab I have ever seen in my life in terms of service

It was really bad experience in this location, they do one blood test and one check up, therefore the apps shows only 10 or 20 minutes waiting time. By the time I got there, it was really line up to the elevator. I waited 90 minutes. They are so slowly and seems no experience employees. They messed up other people’s waiting time while I was waiting there.

Awful first experience. When I arrived to get tested, a very rude assistant asked me to sit down. A very long line started to form outside. I stood up to ask her if I was supposed to be in that line instead, and she didn’t even let me say a single word when once again asked me to sit down and wait. About 30 minutes passed and another assistant arrived and started checking people from the line. Apparently the ones siting were waiting to get tested while the ones in line were just checking in (what I had to do). A long line had formed already so I had to leave because there was no way I was going to get attended within one hour. The assistant didn’t even apologize for making me waste my time sitting in a place where I wasn’t even supposed to be waiting.

There is no point in making an appointment, you will not be served in time. There is only 1 line for walk-in and appointments, ridiculous!!
