Parking was a breeze at the post office area. Easy entry for kayaks. We did both the green and black river almost made it to the falls. Weather was warm And no current issues. Perfect day to kayak in this area as current can be a problem on windy days. Early spring and late fall the current is very strong not recommended for beginners. July and August best months for this river run. One of the best spots I have kayaked in this area.

A nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Lots of nice scenery and a strong current gave our arms a bit of a workout. Lots of boat traffic but most people slowed down for the canoeist

The river motor boat ride was beautiful. BUT the area to launch your boat was disappointing. Only allowed 10 minutes to launch your boat. No PARKING. Where are you to leave your vehicle and trailer while you enjoy the river. You are only offering half a service and leaving people up in the air for a fine. Disgraceful

HEADS UP! Parking is now forbidden!Thanks to a previous comment, we were able to park and launch near the post office but this makes you paddle upstream on your way back, which is not the best.

It's a stunning place to kayak, but absolutely ridiculous to remove all the parking.
