Currency Shoppe is amazing. When it comes to currency exchange, you won't find better rates anywhere else. My wife had to take an emergency flight overseas and we needed Korean currency quickly. Not only were they very accommodating and helpful, they gave us rates which were way better than any of the major banks. I highly recommend this location (Chinatown) to anyone in need of foreign currency. Anytime my wife and I travel, we will make sure to come here first.

Thought I should give a review cause this place gave the best rates… tried a place in the mall first and glad I held out cause saved so much money coming here instead. And the lady working there was really nice too. Definitely recommend :)

This is the best place to get any currency exchanged. The ladies here go above and beyond and are always helpful. They gave me an amazing rate for Yen. Highly recommend!

I visit the Currency Shoppe whenever I need foreign currency, since I try not to use a credit card (which charges fees for transactions in addition to tacking on significant exchange fees). Their rates as better than other foreign exchange shops, their customer service is excellent and, when I need to order money in advance, it has always arrives when they said it would. I have no complaints at all and expect to continue using them. The location I use is in Chinatown in Toronto.

We arrived in Canada and only got a few hundred dollars not knowing that everyone in Richmond Hill and Markham prefer cash. Stumbled across this place and it was fast, easy and the rate was good. Service was friendly and fast too! Will be our go to currency exchange place for CAD from now on!

They stayed open 15 minutes past their closing time to accommodate my last minute rush! They saved me by providing the convenience of not having to order the cash a week an advance like you do at banks. Their rates were comparable to the banks as well. Also have an adorable dog.
