Had a contractor come in trying to fixed my tile flooring from cracking cause it was installed incorrectly, from the contractor. So contractor ad more sport beams on the basement in the most awkward spots (front of sink, and dryer) and the metal poles weren't installed either, as a month later one of them fell on my dryer, damaging it or wores could have hit someone. Very disorganized management for, that's just one 1 thing for starts there's a long list.

Mediocre at best, they've been dealt a lot of budget cuts. The sidewalks are all crumbling, no post-winter street sweeping. They don't plant any trees for shade, most homes aren't updated or upgraded, but you get what you pay for

I have been on the list for 2+ years, waiting for a PMQ. I was #10 on pri2 for over 18 months then today I emailed to see if there are any updates to my status. And I moved backwards… yet another member from my unit (single no dependants) had turned down a pmq offer a year ago and just re-applied and is getting one this week. Where is the fairness in this? Extremely frustrating given the current cost of living and housing shortage to rent in this town. I’d give negative stars if I could.

Please stop hiring incompetent contractors. We've been waiting for Dextera to fix our AC unit for over two months. By the time it's fixed it we probably won't even need it anymore. Every time we call CFHA they say they'll put in an email to them but I doubt that's even happening.

I would give negative stars if I could. Our house has mould and their inspector LIED and said it was water stains. It's black effin mold and my kids and I are getting sick from it. They denied our transfer even though we are 5 people in a 2 bedroom. Our pipes back up every few weeks and we have to get maintenance in here.. they are honestly the worst and they don't care about anything or anyone.

They canceled my application after telling me it was still active a month before, after fighting with them, and proving that i had replied to an email they had sent, they had to put me back on the list retro actively, i lost my chance for housing this year because of this. I would say call them every week to check on your application. Also they haven't done anything about the broken fan and black mold in the bathroom of the one I'm currently sharing with a roommate. Repair orders are extremely slow.

Horrible and treat members like garbage. Their staff are verbally abusive to the member families and are always threatening to go to chain of command" on members when asked to fix structural

Took two weeks for a two day window change to be poorly completed.

I wish I could give less stars. They have no accountability with their contracters. We needed to have our window removed so our couch could get into our PMQ.We coordinated our delivery time of the couch with Ashley Furniture and CFHA contractor to remove our window. We have never had to pay to have our window removed. Its 4 simple trim pieces that hold the window in. Very easy to remove. My concern was if i break it its my fault.CFHA contractor was over 30 mins late. Ashley Furniture was preparing to leave (they were on time)The contractor shows up with a Tims coffee and proceeds to tell me hes going remove the entire window frame and it takes a few hours.I showed him what to do and we did that... all on all took 10 mins with the couch in.The contractor said theres no need to pay and thanked me for showing him the easy way.CFHA sends us a bill of $446.00 for the 10 min affair. We tried to fight it. We fought with the contractor company and were basically told Not my problem. Deal with it"CFHA in Petawawa basically said we just get a bill from the company and send it to you.We called CFHA HQ and a lady heard what happened and thought it was BS also and tried to fight for us. And she was basically told theres nothing that can be done. The best that was possible was a payment arrangment. So we paid for something that didnt happen.while we were disputing this CFHA constantly sent me EMails demanding payment. Giving notices that they will contact my CoC. Even while the emails say we can dispute the bill.I sinced priced out a window of that size and quality. And i could have it replaced locally for just over 1/4 of that price.Lesson learned. Do the work yourself.Almost everything needs to go through the window just to get inside. So whatever you buy... just add $433 to that purchase.Beyond annoyed with them."
