ignore the poor reviews, aside from the one talking about 15 years ago. I can confirm that the school has improved, but don't write a poor review simply because you got upset at a teacher for doing something you shouldn't have done. Take your grudges and shove them under the rug.

I went here from 2012-2022. I must say I miss this place. The teachers and other staff are always nice and supportive. And I made some terrific memories here.

Teachers here are bullies they don't care about your well being. I've only met three okay/good teachers but they've retired. I was bullied by kids at the school and the teachers did bother to do anything about it so don't send your kid to this school.

I went to this school for 10 years starting in 2008 and graduating in 2018. While times have changed since I've graduated, I can safely say that the school that it is one of the better ones in the area. While my 10 years of experience at this school could be considered purely anecdotal, I believe the main selling point of CPPS is its safe environment for students of all ages. I was not bullied a single time here, and any time that I did witness bullying (or anything of the like), it was acted upon quite heavily by staff. Many teachers have retired since my time here, so I can't really make any comment regarding the new ones; however, I can only remember one or two from my time here that were particularly bad (whom I will not be naming as they have likely also retired by now). Most of the teachers I had ranged from decent to fantastic & forever memorable, with a few others being less good at the teaching aspect but still compensating with a fun personality.Furthermore, the school also has a plethora of other benefits:- Linear layout; easy to navigate- Sizeable courtyard with more than enough space for various activities (basketball, playground, just sitting around talking to friends, etc.)- Access to laptops and other class-specific technology like microscopes- Many activities; from small ones like cool treats to ski trips- Feeds into Markville Secondary School, which is one of the best high schools in the area and is also located only a 3 minute walk awayOverall, for any parents/guardians that may be reading this, you can rest assured that this school is a generally good place for your child to receive an education. It is by no means perfect, of course, but it comes closer to it than many of the other elementary schools that I have seen within the area; thus, Central Park Public School is a solid 4/5 stars.

School is good. I can see them trying to improve for sure. New principal is great. But it’s the several students who have gone through so much bullying and always feeling that their voices are not heard that make me not like the school as much

This school has many many kind kids and teachers. The bad thing is the playground is close all the time. But still. 99999999999999999/10

As a student here, I enjoy how supportive people are. Most of the teachers are really nice and chill, the principal and vice-principal take situations very seriously. If there is someone you need to vent to, there are school counselors to help you. There are extra activities you can do, like basketball, cross country, and other sports, as they encourage to be as active as possible. The only issue is is that bullying isn't taken AS seriously, and I and others for one, don't really have our voices heard. Overall, i would HIGHLY recommend to go to the school.

Younger cousin goes there every time they come back with new exciting and happy stories to tell me on social media. They where very anti-social before but after going back face to face and meeting amazing teachers and new friends they’ve become more confident, social and outgoing. If this school could change them completely in 2 weeks it’s amazing!
