Port Maitland Esplanade and Pier

Great place to walk the pier. Several people fishing today as we walked along.Portable toilets available if needed. Ample free parking as well.

The best place to go fishing in summer time. I saw lots of people was fishing and stay for hours to catch one or nothing. They have playground and picnic area to enjoy your bbq with family and friends. Also, you can launch your boat to explore lake Erie. I saw like a motel for rent to stay for nights. I think you have to book ahead of time not sure. On the other side have public beach if you like to dive in to cool yourself.

We went here to walk along the boardwalk. There was nobody here, only fishermen and seagulls.

Great view of Lake Erie!My family and I got to see a beautiful sunset here in early January! It was surprisingly calm, and with very little snow we were able to walk the beach.Cute little park for children located at the start of the pier. And an ice cream spot off the far end of the park (closed when we went because it was winter).
