Things Engraved Online Only

I called the store yesterday to get a wine glass engraved for a friend. I specifically asked the rep on the phone the price for doing this based on the amount of characters, I also pointed out that I would bring my own glass as it is higher quality then what they sell.Upon arriving, they did the work, then told me there was a $10 charge for bringing my own glass.If this had been pointed out, I would have went elsewhere to get it done.Their machine did a good job engraving, but CSR's need better training.

I bought a necklace from here today and when I went into the store I had a few questions. The woman I was dealing with seemed uninterested and was at times rude, to me and her co-workers. We discussed the best way to engrave the necklace I was buying and from two choices I chose one. I went back later that night and there were different employees in. They took out my necklace, and it was engraved the wrong way. I asked if I could have a refund of the engraving fee. It wasn't that much, there was only 9 characters and I purchased the necklace there so it was $1 per character. She said she'd have to call her manager. After a 15 minute wait while I was waiting for her to get off the phone, she came out and said the best she could do was a refund, but they would take the necklace back. That would have been fine - of course I was frustrated because I live outside of Brantford and I didn't want to drive home and back again - except they didn't have another of the necklace I wanted, and even though they made a mistake, they weren't willing to let me trade for any more expensive necklace, even just a couple dollars, since they would be giving me a refund, and then making me pay for another necklace all over again. In the end I just took the necklace they gave me. It's for a gift and it was time sensitive, but I will be going to other locations for future business.I'd like to add too that I'm not someone who writes bad reviews often. I know that these are probably minimum wage employees who get customers all the time that they can't help, I just feel as thought there was some sort of compensation that could have been offered, and therefore I was disappointed.

Brought in 2 items to get engraved. Told 2 days to get it done. The machine hasnt been working, behind doing engravings and new employee being trained. Just a bunch of excuses. Completely lost our business. Honestly didnt seem like she wanted to do it because it was an item we brought it and she was afraid to ruin it. All you do is engravings???

Ordered a stocking. Came quickly (even in the midst of Christmas rush).

Always have had good service. They have been doing my my trophy plate engraving for over 15 years. Had a couple of keys cut today as well.

Really shouldn't have signs that say they engrave rings when in fact they do not . very annoyed and mislead as a customer

Good selection of gift items, prices are decent, but if you have time to shop around, you can find it cheaper elsewhere.

A horrible customer service experience. I’ll never return to that awful place.Maham offered me an item at a lower price. I asked her about this and she confirmed the lower price saying “we’re changing prices today. So you’ve come in at a good time.” When I went to buy the item she suddenly told me the price was doubled.Later I called Maham and suggested she should give me that item at that lower price since she assured me twice of the price. She agreed. I returned to the store. With the manager, Connie, standing right near by Maham told me I would still have to pay the higher price. I turned and walked out. Never will I return to that horrible store.
