Luca was great! He was straight forward, answered our questions, and gave us a rundown of important information - etc. We only rented the vespa for maybe half the day but it was well worth it (even though we did get lost a bit, but that was our fault obviously) We will for sure be renting here again when we come back to visit.

I rented a Vespa Sprint 125cc with my girlfriend on 14th June 2023 for a day and it was one of the best days of our vacation in Italy, even with the rain. The scooter was in perfect condition and everything went well from the online booking to the drop off at the end of the day. The reception from the team was great in the morning, clear instructions have been given to us and they even gave us the possibility to drop off the scooter outside of working hours. I thought the Vespa would be quite small for me and my girlfriend (I am 1m90 and she is 1m75) but surprisingly it was very comfortable. The handling and the suspensions are good, even on the bumpy roads of the Chianti hills.Like many of you, I have read bad reviews about this rental agency, and I was quite doubtful at first. Please read the owner's answers because the hateful reviews are unjustified and the bad situations experienced by the writers are mostly caused by themselves (no experience driving scooters, not able to properly read an email or a website, lack of organisation, ...).If you know :- how to drive a scooter- how to read emails and understand simple instructions- how to organize yourself--> Everything will be fine !Customer is king, but customer must also take ownership of their mistakes.Thanks a lot for this experience ! If I come back to Florence one day, I'll rent a scooter again from New Tuscany Scooter Rental.

I really enjoyed the whole experience with Lucca and New Tuscany. We rented Roxanna, our red Vespa, for 5 days and absolutely loved it. Fast service, the vespa gave us no problems and Lucca was kind at start and finish. I will definitely use them again.

These two cats (father & son) are as cool as the flip side of the pillow. Fluent in Italian, English and Moto. I truly appreciate their personable, professional, enthusiastic and knowledgeable ownership. I highly recommend them if you want to rent a scooter. They will make it easy and enjoyable for you.

Recommended!In terms of travel planning, as far as actually driving a scooter, I am pretty experienced mostly from Asia. So I’d say my confidence is pretty high. I did have to cut back my ambitions in terms of range and didn’t go further than Sienna before heading back.Navigating was much harder than expected; closed streets on the weekend, confusing signage, road numbers are not displayed, bumpy roads, somewhat aggressive drivers etc. I just found I constantly needed to check gps which cut into the goal of just zipping around carefree.I had fun but recommend a limited range like Sienna. If you know the roads or have help navigating that changes everything of course. Hope this helps with planning.

SCAM COMPANY!!! We rented a scooter clear back in Oct. 2019, which was a good experience for that day. HOWEVER, THIS PAST WEEK (April 2023!!! Almost 4 years later), this SAME COMPANY JUST TRIED TO CHARGE OUR Apple Card for $296.91!!!Luckily, we were alerted, but somehow, they had a way to use credit card info. to defraud us (Apple is highly encrypted and is supposed to be one of the most secure systems). So what does the tell you? How dishonest is that? As if we wouldn't notice! :(
