I do a lot of businesses in the market and I kept walking by this place. Patio was packed, food looked good, and I really wanted to give it a try.I've never been mich of an oxtail guy but I wanted to try something than the usual jerk. The oxtail was braised for four hours and had the fall off the bone tenderness. The sauce was packed with so much flavor. The rice and beans were ridiculously good. The coleslaw was fresh but not nearly as good as the other two.Definitely coming back for more

My second time at this restaurant. Cleanliness of the place on point. Toilets need remodeling. Other than that, the quality of service and food marvelously pleasant.1. Energetic greeting with a smile.2. Willingness to serve.3. Music not too loud and great choice that respects the theme of the place.4. Fast pace to get the meal on your table and great portion.5. Great food temperature.6. Great atmosphere7. They follow the COVID-19 rules and regulations8. Great experience overall.Thank you.

The flavour was fantastic! We ordered the Jerk Wings & Fries as well as the Jerk Chicken Mac & Cheese. The portion size of the wings and fries was okay, but the Mac & Cheese portion was small. Considering the price I would have expected larger portions.Everything else about our experience was great!

Delicious food but a bit over-priced for the portions given. ImI tried their mac and cheese with Oxtail. It was really well spiced but very little amount of meat given. Ordered a separate Oxtail meal and noted the same thing.Thankfully the meat was tender and the flavour was good (and not too salty). Their complimentary coleslaw wasn’t good though. It was dry and didn’t taste like traditional Caribbean coleslaw that I’m used to.

Food is amazing, I had the lobster jerk, rice and beans with some sweet plantain. Couldn’t wait to take it home so I ate it in the car. Customer service is amazing and you have to try their spicy pineapple drink (not that spicy), it’s really good

To my knowledge this restaurant recently just closed which is so saddening as it was my absolute favourite spot for Jamaican food in Ottawa. They served beautiful cocktails within fruit which is so fun for the summer. Service was a young, fun group of individuals that definitely set the relaxed mood that made this place what it was.

Ordered on Uber eats and got their popcorn shrimp mac & cheese, salty plantains and half chicken. The jerk chicken was great, I quite enjoyed it. I had ordered the mac and cheese because I saw a great looking picture and recommendation from a friend. The breaded shrimp was soft and soggy, and the mac and cheese was gummy. The plantains were dry and bland.Overall, probably won't bother again or if I do, I'll stick to the jerk chicken.

Absolutely amazing. Haven’t had take out food in quarantine that was this good. Had the jerk Mac and cheese, popcorn shrimps and oxtail poutine. Portions were good. Everything exceeded expectations. Devoured everything before I could take a photo. Can’t wait for restrictions to be over so I can run the calories off all the way to the restaurant.

Tried the lobster Mac and cheese and was blown away.. honestly! It tasted like my family cooked it! Full of flavour and the drinks to match 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for some authentic Caribbean food. Well done guys
