My experience With Shine was unforgettable. This company is committed to enhancing the competitive dance experience for our youth! It’s focused on inspiring our young talent and letting them reach for the stars! It’s organized to perfection. I’m so happy that I was able to experience Shine and be inspired by everyone I met. Shine Dance Festival is my favourite competition to work for. Everyone is treated with such care and kindness. Every student, teacher, parent, judge, staff member is treated equally with such professionalism. You truly feel welcomed into the Shine family at every event. Tamara has truly found the best festival/competition formula to encourage dancers to grow on their journey as artists and human beings. The environment created at Shine is filled with positivity and light.

It has been an absolute pleasure and honour to work for Shine for the last 6 years. Tamara's focus on uplifting the dance community through education and fostering the wholistic dancer has been an amazing environment to grow into my own career as an MC/Educator and Community & Social Media Manager. Tamara and her crew at Shine go above and beyond of what any dance festival offers. This past year they reached out to so many, sharing their resources to help our dance community stay alive and functioning, and even growing. Tamara’s passions don’t just involve dance, but supporting the community in any way she can. She ensured that her support was on a personal level with studio owners, teachers, parents and dancers. One of our favourite Dance Competitions! They truly prioritize a positive experience for the dancers above all else and provide an extremely high quality event right down to the last detail. We love Shine!

I can not express my love for SHINE. I so whole-heartedly agree with every value that Tamara has instilled into her company. Every little detail has been thought of to put the mental health of the youth at the top of the priority list. As an adjudicator, fairness and integrity are at the top of the list. Tamara has high standards, and it shows. I would recommend SHINE again and again and again. The magic goes far beyond the weekend - I am still feeling it weeks later!

I can't say/write enough positive things about Shine, but some words that come to mind are holistic, mindful, timely, and healthy. Tamara and her team offer live and online experiences that serve dancers as whole humans and respond to the needs of the community, teachers and parents included. Shine's values really *shine* through in all they do, and I cannot overstate the importance of having healthy educational, competitive, and community experiences in dance. I've attended competitions as a student, teacher, and have had the honor of teaching Dancinema workshops online and virtually with Shine.
