Juluca's - Italian Restaurant
So glad I found this hidden gem in Barrhaven! Both the appetizer and the pastas were delicious. The portion was very big which was a nice surprise! Beautiful plating too. Would love to be back.

The food was delicious and well presented. We had three types of pasta with my family. All were excellent. The prices are reasonable and cheeper than many other italian restaurants. I would highly recommend it.

Juluca's - Italian Restaurant
I was honestly impressed with the quality of the food. It was all delicious, and the pizzas that we ordered were made fresh. Definitely a hidden gem in Barrhaven, and I look forward to coming back sometime soon.Update: I went back to Juluca's for dinner this past Saturday, and I tried their pasta. The pasta was delicious! and the portions are very generous. Worth coming back!

We had a great experience here. Sat outside in the patio because it was warm. The AC inside made it freezing and intolerable for anyone to sit inside. There was no wait for a table which was surprising given the good service and great food. The pizza was excellent. Not the best in Ottawa but really good and good enough that I'd make the drive to go back. The crust was on the thinner side, light and fluffy and tasty. The pasta and chicken parm dishes were also very good and pretty large portions. The cocktails are almost as much as the food at $13-15 each and under $20 for a small pizza that feeds 1 person or perhaps 2 if you each get an appetizer. Service was good and attentive.

One of those family restaurant finds that are so rare. Food is home made and spectacular and the portions are huge. Atmosphere is lovely Indoors for a fancy meal, while also having a great patio for beer and wings. If you have guests to Ottawa and are looking to impress, this is the place to go!

So we went to Julucas on a recommendation for Italian food and left disappointed. Service was excellent, but the two plates were short on the proteins and seafood and excessive on the pasta and sauce. Sure, there was seafood if you counted 3 to 4 shrimp and the same for the scallops. Kind of reminded me of where's the beef"? Would I go back probably not when heaps of pasta run 28 to 30 bucks a plate."

Beautiful food and sweet waitress but horrible to sit there with sun blazing. They really need to invest in some heavy blinds; we couldn’t move because we were a large party and they were unwilling to even let us tape a menu to the windows (yes we were that desperate; had to keep leaning and shimmying to avoid the glare).

I have yet to dine in at this restaurant but on a Sunday evening we took a chance that they would be open. Many places are closed in Barrhaven on Sundays. My husband has had the pizza here and he still talks about it almost a year later. We ordered the chicken fettuccine and the creole fettuccine. Both were so delicious. The home made pasta makes the difference but the sauces made the pasta even better. We also ordered zucchini which were very fresh. Had we not eaten almost all of them we might've been able to finish our pasta. Very happy to find high quality food in the suburbs not from a box eatery.

We went there for a date on Valentine’s Day.The food was really niceService was quick as well.Really loved the shrimps from their appetizers. And pizza was great too.It’s complete value for money!The only turn off was the ambience, especially their pastry fridge. The tube light in the fridge was so strong that could give a headache.I wish they kept it on the back counter and. It the front.
