I have to disagree with many of the reviews here. The clinic is great, clean and efficient. The doctor I saw was kind and professional. The thing is, you gotta get there before it opens and line up. I was there four minutes after opening and I was the last patient who could be seen. I waited about an hour and a half to see a doctor which is not unreasonable. There is definitely a doctor shortage in Nova Scotia and walk-ins like this are carrying a huge burden. Thank you for being one of the only walk-in clinics! I really hope that we can attract more doctors to Nova Scotia to keep up with the growing population.

I visited this clinic twice so far. First time I waited for 1:30h and the doctor examined me for less than one minute. I described all my symptoms to him: dizziness, headaches, vertigo and nausea. He then gave me a prescription for ten days of medication. I felt much better after this treatment, however I needed to do a follow-up consultation because I still have vertigo everything I lay down and move my head. I never had this before and I need a diagnostic… The doctor doesn’t want to refer me to a specialist. I’m still worried without knowing what I have. Is it labyrinthitis or not? At least the receptionist there is friendly and caring. And the place is organized, clean and renovated.

They never seem to be open (during their posted hours) when I need them lately. I badly need prescriptions renewed and every time I try, they're closed

Please take the time to read this carefully, as it could save you from wasting your time. On Saturday, June 17th, my girlfriend and I came to this clinic to address a lingering issue that had been bothering me since the previous month. I had heard positive reviews about this clinic, particularly regarding its short wait times. We arrived around 10am, well before their scheduled opening time of 11am. However, when we got there, the mezzanine was already filled with approximately 15 people occupying all the available seating. We patiently stood there, expecting the clinic to open at 11am, but to our surprise, it remained dark and closed even at 11:20. At that point, we decided to leave and quickly went to the Joseph Howe clinic, only to find out that it was fully booked for appointments just 28 minutes after opening. Curious as to why so many people were waiting at a clinic that didn't seem to be opening, we did some research and discovered that the confusion stemmed from the clinic's poorly designed website. Although the website clearly stated their hours as 11am to 4pm, it failed to mention that if the location status bar showed CLOSED-CLOSED

The receptionist at this clinic was really efficient and kind. The doctor was really knowledgeable and helpful. When I arrived 45 minutes before the clinic opening time there were already a number of people waiting. So make sure you go early. The full sign was up well before 9 AM.

If I could give 0 stars it would be better. First of all wouldn’t accept my insurance even though it was valid. First time I went i got prescribed the wrong antibiotics and almost got kidney stones from that. 2nd time my friend went for a prescription and the doctor supposedly wrote her a fake prescription because he wasn’t interested in doing a follow up (Cops were called). Third time (and final time) the doctor was rude and not interested in what I was saying at all. Accused me of faking then wrote me a prescription tossed it to me and left. Horrible. So horrible.

So far my experience with this clinic has been good. I went to the walk-in a few weeks ago. The receptionist was extremely kind and caring, and the doctor, while obviously trying to be quick, was as helpful as he could be given he is not a women's health specialist. Gave me something to try and said 'come back if this doesn't work'. He also gave me a list of women's health clinics to try and let me know they would be booking new dates at their clinics soon. He was right - the receptionist had just been given new dates that very day so I could book in for the following month. Overall, a good experience.

I’m here now 15 minutes past when the clinic was supposed to open, the clinics locked and there’s 20 people lined up outside. The website says clinic is open. The least they could do is update it if they’re closed!

The worst medical experience I have ever had. The doctor wrote me off as anxious before even checking my vitals. I had to tell him over and over that I know what my anxiety feels like and that the symptoms I have been experiencing are not the same. He gave me a hard time about getting blood work done as it wouldn't solve anything". Mid appointment he literally walked out of the room while I was trying to speak to him about my past medical issues. Doctors like this are what make it difficult for women to speak up in medical settings."

You can show up an hour before they open with proof of medications you’ve taken for years and they WONT WRITE YOUR PRESCRIPTION. do not ever waste your time on the doctors here. There’s no way to get what you need
