I tried to drop in to pick up a adapter only to be informed I'd have to wait 3-4 hours. They certainly didn't look to be run off their feet, and to rebuff a customer like they did will have me rethinking my purchasing choices. It's not they they're the only game in town. Online shopping makes everyone an option, and if walk in's are such an inconvenience to them, obviously they don't need our business.

I have now made 3 purchases with Telescopes Canada and every purchase I have made has been quick and easy. My products arrived from Ontario to Manitoba in 2 days without issue.On one purchase, completely my fault, I ordered a product not compatible with my scope as it was, but I talked with someone named Kevin and he pointed me in the right direction to rectify the issue. On top of that, he offered me a product that was cheaper than the solution I was going for. I'm new to astronomy, it's my first scope, so I'm sure I asked a lot of noob questions, but he remained patient and friendly the entire time. I bought a couple of items from these guys, and found them very helpful and prompt with their service. Delivery to NZ was estimated to be two weeks, and it ended up being only one week. Tracking information was excellent. Highly recommended!!

I purchased an Evolution 9.25” and a camera to go with it.Ordering online was easy enough. I asked Telescopes Canada (TC) to cover up any info on the shipping boxes that identify what’s inside. I live in an apt and I don’t want issues with people who would know I’m using this ‘scope from a high-rise balcony. TC did exactly as I asked…, thank you TC!I thought the shipping charge was quite reasonable and was pleasantly surprised to find out that it included shipping insurance. TC created a shipping label just one hour after I placed my order and had it picked up for delivery to me only one more hour after that!I was also surprised that delivery would be the very next day (distance 70km). Sure enough, it arrived just 25 hours after I placed the order!Later on a second different order my purchased binoculars were defective. TC notified Celestron who sent me a second replacement pair. These worked just fine. And I was told I didn't have to return the first pair, I could just keep them. Wow!I’m very pleased with Telescopes Canada (and Celestron). I recommend them!

We popped in for an in-person visit when in the area. They took the time to understand our goals and then walk through some options for our first telescope. We got the feeling that the advice was based in expertise and was sincere. It is nice when you are given less expensive options as opposed to up-selling, especially for the first timer. I have placed several orders, and was pleasantly surprised that the majority of the items were in stock, even the more esoteric ones. Shipping costs are quite reasonable as well, and delivery is prompt.The service is unparalleled, with Scott, Kevin and Stephen being exceptionally pleasant and helpful.I am thoroughly enjoying everything I purchased from them, especially the three ZWO cameras and six different bandpass filters.I think I've found my new primary source for astro gear. I have zero hesitations in recommending Telescopes Canada. Placing an order through their website was a breeze. Scott also helped me make a change to my order before it shipped out, which was a big help. I received it next day and couldn't be happier! As a side note, this was one of the few dealers of Astronomik products I was able to find in Ontario. This meant I could support local and not have to order in from a US or international dealer.
