Merry Maids of Vancouver

I am a new user of Merry Maids Cleaning Service. I was very impressed that the owner came to my home, explained the service and set up the service schedule to fit my needs. I have been very impressed with their service. Although this is different than hiring privately the attention to detail is the same. There is a very fine receptionist/liaison who also does home inspections to make sure the service continues to meet their standards. I am delighted.

I am very disappointed with my experience at Merry Maids. I used to use this company a couple years back, and had an issue with the man working the phone.. so i stopped using them. There is new management now, so i thought i would try again. This experience was no better. Atleast with the previous man, he refunded my service in the end due to our mishap.We have a standard office with 3 bathrooms, and one common space, which also duals as a staff room. We hired Merry Maids for a 2 hour clean to get the job completed, and even offered to pay OVERTIME to ensure the job would be complete. We ensured to do this on a day the office was empty so no one would be a disruption.The lady dealing with the phone at Merry Maids said she had completed the job, yet they did not. It is filthy. Even with the offer of overtime, it was not completed. Not even close. I am very disappointed AGAIN with Merry Maids, and i will not be using them again.As well, i would say its important for the lady answering the phone to be more respectful to clients as well as professional. To me, if a customer is unhappy, rightfully so, fix the problem. And if you are not willing to do that, atleast be polite and respectful about it. This is a paid job, and not a favour.

I couldn’t be happier with the amazing service Merry Maids provided! We hired them for a move out clean and our cleaner was on time and possibly one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. She did an amazing and thorough job and I will definitely be using their service again!

Merry Maids has been coming here for over a year. We look forward to their arrival each week. They do an excellent job and every once in a while I learn about their efficient cleaning tricks. They are a nice group of workers. Always professional! After they leave, we sit around and enjoy all of their hard work. Its like a mini vacation:) Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient housekeeping team!

You might have better luck if they see you as a potential repeat customer but as a one time job the 2 girls seemed inexperienced and I found them to be rather inefficient with their time. Went with deep cleaning and they focused too much in one area and ran out of time leaving the latter half substandard. Standard option probably better value.

We've been using Merry Maids for several years and have always found the services reliable, flexible and consistent. The customer service that the office provides is efficient, prompt, pleasant and accommodating . They actively seek out feedback and make sure the customer is happy with each visit. I've had to make last minute schedule changes, or request specific times and they have always done their best to work with my needs. The quality of cleaning is consistently good and the cleaners are respectful, professional and diligent. I wholeheartedly recommend Merry Maids of Vancouver!

Booked a move out clean and was extremely disappointed. When I returned to the empty unit, I did not see any difference. The floors were still dirty, the kitchen counters were not clean, the stove top was not clean, the fridge was not clean. The apartment wasn’t cleaned in any sense, let alone clean enough more a move out inspection. The cleaner who was supposed to do a walk through, disappeared when we arrived. She said she was taking her supplies downstairs and then never came back.I emailed the company right away but as they do not work weekends so no one got back to me until after the weekend. I had to drop everything the next day to go back and clean it myself. This actually cost me money.The inspection was on Monday morning so I was left with no other option but to clean it myself.I finally got a call on late Monday morning after the inspection had taken place. The company was not remorseful at all. I was charged the full amount minus 15 minutes. They did not do a move out clean as per my attached photos. I should not be charged at all.Do not recommend. Zero stars. Completely unacceptable.

Kirin is a wonderful housekeeper. I always look forward to my home after her clean. It is spotless and so inviting to come back to a thoroughly cleansed apartment. I have taken out a recurring monthly clean with them and I am so happy with Merry Maid’s services!
