Al Ameen Masjid

Al Ameen Mosque is user friendly and welcomes younger brothers and sister in IslamI really like the Jummat Service here. It's short and concise.And the Imman will speak English to capture all audience during the sermom. Even though I move to the south side I still go back to Al Ameen whenever I have the opportunity.

Make sure you have everything in writing. The sheikhs at this particular mosque will not help anyone recover any documents that they require. They do not keep good records and will slander a woman and call her crazy" merely if she asks for a copy of something that is rightfully hers. These sheikhs are verbally abusive and gossip about people they do not know. They will promise to call you back and a year will pass with no communication. One of the worst mosques in the city. They will be using their money in a law suit so be careful where you donate. WARNING TO ALL SISTERS. These sheikhs do not care about women and will treat you like a joke when in need."

It's an amazing place. And the imam had such a beautiful recitation.

Very peaceful atmosphere. There is a place for women to pray. The best time is Ramadan, we use to go there for Taraweeh. Kids are also allowed. My entire family goes there. My husband and father in law goes for jummah prayers most of the time

Awesome mosque. I loved the gorgeous interiors of the main prayer hall (see photo attached). The basement prayer area is also very large. There is a separate prayer area for sisters.The masjid has its own parking which is always good.The masjid may be closed outside of prayer times even during the daytime, so please be aware of that.

Sheikh Ismail and Sheikh Abdul gossip about women - a warning to all sisters without a WALI. This is a very bad mosque. You are much better off going somewhere else. The level of professionalism in this mosque is so bad. This is the kind of mosque you have to stay away from because it will test your faith. Pray at home and give money to poor people.
