Sites are WAY too small in some cases less than a few feet. The facilities seem lacking for the number of campers. At one point our neighbours were up till one in the morning partying loudly and our small children couldn't sleep. Our backyard would have been better. For the price disappointing

Great place. The camping has many trees which allows for well deserved shadows during sunny days. Water and washroom are easily accessible. There is also a superb river accessible by walk to refresh yourself. The water in the river comes from two stream, one cold and one hot. Swimmers should go 15 feet into the river to access to hotter stream

We did not have a reservation which is a must during the peak season. We were caught off guard as we spent more time than we had planned visiting the Cabot Trail area. The main Campground was full thus we were offered a spot in the Overflow Campground. It is located about 5 Km north of the main campground beside the Cabot Trail just underneath “Grande Falaise” (The Great Cliff). There is pavement all the way. The interior roads are gravel and in good condition.. Signage is poor. Without information from the main Campground attendant, we would not have known this area was the overflow site. Check in at the main Office was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. Our site, OF14, was a grassed area beside a picnic table marked OF14, We backed into the site as we wanted to face the cliff and forest rather than the road. It was easily long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services were none (other than the picnic table). There are vault toilets available for those that need them.. Distancing is good for a rural park. Our site was flat and even. Overall the overflow area was better than an unserviced site at the main campground. Park attendants showed up a few times just to make sure everyone there had paid and passes were visible. We shared the area with one other Motor Home and two other tenters. Hiway traffic disappeared by 8:00PM so we had a very quiet and restful night. We paid $23.00 per night and we feel we received good value.

Lovely campground. We stayed at Cheticamp Campgrounds in a fully equipped tent. They provided a tent on a wooden platform, mats, 2 burner stove, propane, pans, dishes, cutlery and a lantern. It was less than $100 per night for the family too. Comfort stations in close proximity. Few kitchen facilities. The best kitchen facility I've seen at a campground. Sink with running water, wood burning heater, electrical outlets, lots of seating. There were sinks for dishwashing every where too. Very close to Skyline Trail. Highly recommend a trip and a overnight stay here.

This is a beautiful campsite, right on the Cabot trail on the western part the National Park. Great location and well organised. During this my second stay, I rented one of their tent/cabins. They come with a heater --a nice feature for the middle of the fall and space to sit and enjoy. It comes advertised as having a charger but this is a bit of a fib. There is a plug but it doesn't work. When I asked about it, I was told that because it's from solar, it's hit and miss. Not because there is no Sun, but because the panels may be obstructed by branches and we cannot cut from the branches, they said. But the price is not being trimmed either. So they know the branches obstruct the panels in specific units, won't do anything about it, but they still advertise the chargers and charge (pun intended) full price for them. Government nightmare. The ladies at the front desk offered very kindly to charge my phone. I'm grateful for that. But the paid ability to DO it conveniently overnight at my leisure was not there. If you want to rent one of these tents in the park, buyer beware.

Had a great time. Playground is great for the kids and there’s a variety of camp spots to choose from (tree covered or open field). Staff were all very friendly too. You’ll need cash for firewood. Washrooms and showers were bright and clean too.

Good sized campground with two trails starting directly from the campground itself. We booked Otentik 119 and it was the best experience. This unit was isolated from the other campers and it was facing a nearby stream which made for wonderful white noise to sleep to at night. There is even a heater for those cold nights and a light inside the Otentik. It can comfortably sleep 6 adults, and it was very spacious for only 3 people. I would highly recommend booking an Otentik and experiencing glamping at Cheticamp. Just note that there is no power source to charge your devices within the accommodation so bring a power bank.

Nice staff and place. Washrooms clean. Ideal to camp if you want to do the skyline trail which has awesome views or acadian trail. We did a walk-in which is on FCFS basis and available till 9 pm.Only problem was the campsites were very close to each other. Adjacent sites didn't even have trees in between them. It's like camping on two adjacent driveways in a suburbs!

Nice park with clean facilities but sites are tiny and have little to no privacy. Definitely ask about other sites when you arrive as some are booked first come first serve. We upgraded to an Otentik and definitely worth it for the privacy, private entrance backing onto a river and comfy accomodations for up to 6 ppl.this campground is closest to many trails and sights on cape breton Island.
