The teachers" at Music Makers seem to come from a variety of educational backgrounds. Most who do not have much teaching qualifications in the slightest. It is important that music teachers not only need to be proficient performers

The shop though compact, does offer a comprehensive selection of musical scores. I found what I was looking for without any confusion and there was a friendly staff member at the ready to assist. They also offer music lessons.

We’ve been Music Makers customers for over 6 years, for music lessons (piano & vocal), buying musical instruments, supplies, sheet music and books. The instructors we’ve personally worked with over the years, or seen during recitals, have all been great: professional, friendly, and courteous. Front desk staff have always been helpful, and pricing seems fair & reasonable. But, most importantly, we feel our son is doing very well in his music studies and a big part of that is due to Music Makers attention and support (for which we are very grateful). It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re interested in lessons or sheet music.

I registered for music theory lessons at 22 years old with little music experience. They paired me up with Eric, a jazz instructor.Eric is awesome, really informative and explains everything very well. He's passionate and it shows in his teaching. Every lesson is packed with info and he writes notes for you to take home so that you don't forget. Well worth the money :)

My daughter has been going here for about a year and absolutely loves both her teachers - Cameron for piano and Tatiana for singing. They are both fantastic with children and help grow her passion to continue to learn and enjoy music. Ryan is also extremely helpful with song choices and has a lot of information about music. Thank you for all you do!

This store is a staple in Calgary Nw. Everything we needed to get started with learning to play guitar and drums. The staff and teachers have been amazing from the start.
