We bought 13 giant Maiden grass plants.Only seven came up. We called and asked about the return policy and was told no returning perennials after five days. They were very expensive and we were looking forward to having them come up and now we are told sorry. We are not impressed…..They would not even be up within five days!A store should work with customers somewhat??

I have been shopping at every plant nursery around Halifax and this is BY FAR the most expensive of it all. Save your money and go somewhere else.Bought incrediball flower, they were on sale, at 30% off. Be careful, when they put plant on sale, often it is because the plant have a disease. I took great care of the plants, put fresh water every 2 days and fresh soil, it just roots away. Also it is very expensive, they sell plastic pot at double the price than anywhere else.

Beautiful herbs and tomato plants (items that we got today) but this garden center offers so many other options. Some prices are unbeatable where others seem a bit high but over all highly recommended to pop in for a visit. Bet you leave with at least one thing :)

Just avoid the frustration if you are ordering outside of the province.I would have hoped that a milestone birthday order would have gotten some priority for delivery.Save yourself the frustration and have someone local pick up vs deliver.

Bought a bag of cedar mulch for $15 today. Went to superstore after and they had the same size bags for $3. I’m all for supporting local but 5x the price for the same size bag of bark chips??? Now I remember why I stopped shopping there.

First, I’m an experienced gardener. This is the second year in a row that annuals bought at Atlantic Gardens Sackville have done noticeably poorly. I don’t know what’s going wrong at their operation (flowers in the grow section looked awful) but I’m done. I will shop at Withrow’s instead, great success with their annuals- and I’m not associated with them.

The plants are beautiful and well presented. So many hanging baskets to choose from in the spring! They were very helpful when we were selecting tomato transplants; it would have been nice to be asked if we needed help elsewhere in our shopping.

Last two trips here has me rethinking why I travel the extra distance. I am not knowledgeable on gardening and would specifically come here to be educated. Recently it seems the employees are not knowledgeable on the products or gardening best practices.Selection is still a great reason to come here, but for knowledge they are now on par with Retail store summer garden centers. If you have a SuperStore or CT nearby with the same product, save gas and hassle by going there.
