Best Western Ville-Marie Montreal Hotel & Suites

Second time staying at the hotel and I’ll be back again soon. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful on both visits. The rooms are clean and mostly modern. The bathrooms seemed to be a few years out of date, but the sink, mirror and shower worked 100%. Accomplished their goals. Centrally located. 13 minute walk to Bell Centre. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Average room with some odd things like drapes that don't close completely and a dangerous floor lip at the bathroom entrance. Location is great and valet parking is well priced if you don't need in/out privileges.

Rooms are clean and what you would expect from a Best Western. The hotel is older and on the noise side. The staff are very friendly and the duck pond entertained my wife.

The room(1504) was huge, but the bathroom is tiny(single person only.) Unfortunately, our room was beside the elevator so that was loud. Outside our window was a large metal scaffolding that hummed all night. Bring your earplugs. There is a Cafe attached to the hotel, but there's limited food options. Park across the street for 25$ a night because the hotel is $45 a night.

Nice hotel, great stay. Just wish they had a complimentary breakfast. Room was perfect, beds were so comfy and cozy. Short distance from everything in downtown Montreal and the Bell Center. Would recommend

The staff are very good. The hotel needs to pull up the carpets and replace them with something ecological and contemporary. The coffee shop is great. The hotel is in an excellent location. I suppose I selected it because it was less expensive than other hotels in that area.

This property was filthy, to put it politely. Carpets looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. From the front door to reception to our room and all parts in between. Our room was no exception. There were used contact lenses on the bathroom floor and beside the bed. The toilet had urine dripped down the front of the bowl and onto the floor. Hair and dirt all over bathroom tile. Can’t imagine what this means was in the carpet. The back of the bathroom door had small ledges that were full of dirt and hair. There was a used towel under the sink. Food crumbs next to the bed. There were finger prints on the furniture, which means nothing was sanitized and disinfected as the website claims. It is clear this property is not living up to its on,one claims of adhering to COVID standards of cleanliness. Front desk offered to upgrade our room - which was also dirty (hair on bathroom floor and in the shower) but it was much better than the first room. We didn’t care about an upgrade, we just wanted a clean room. Seems like we expected too much. We asked if breakfast would be included as a concession for the dirty rooms, but we were flatly told “no”. We asked for valet parking since parking on site is not offered. The valet said “come back in about a half hour because we need to wait for someone else to come back”. ??? It was 11:30pm so no, we weren’t prepared to wait for someone to return at an unknown time. We had to find parking on our own that was blocks away. We were honestly shocked with the condition of this Best Western. It is not giving this chain a good reputation. Apart from the amazing location downtown Montreal, this place is a huge disappointment. In an age of severe illness and a need for additional attention to disinfecting surfaces, and in keeping with their on,one claims of superior standards,this location on Peel St leaves much to be desired. Sadly, we will not recommend this location.

Room smelled like paint, windows can be opened up to a comfortable 5 cm so you're stuck with it. (Hotel was under renovation maybe?????) They kicked me off of the internet in the middle of my stay while I was doing some remote work. Room was mid. Entrance looked shady. Decoration is kinda ew.Other guests are really weird. One was blasting terrible memes at the reception.Breakfast was mid, which is why I ordered uber eats instead.Receptionnist was nice though. Other service for maintainance carried too. In other words, staff is excellent.Close to some decent restaurants and subway. I didn't feel like my well being was at risk. Bonus, it has heating.
