I loved loved the cod jigging experience so much that I went once with a charter, and second time with a mixed group.It was hard at first as your line a long way down, but cool on the charter, a bbq by Belle Island.Will see them again on our next visit to Newfoundland.

Incredible Experience! I was fortunate to enjoy two separate charters during the 2018 Food Fishery with Saltwater Society.The first was a family excursion that included (4) children ages 4-7 years. The Saltwater team was extremely safety consensus with the young participants. The crew was very accommodating and made the experience relaxing and exciting for everyone in the group.The second trip was with a few come-from-away couples on a first time visit to Newfoundland. Although the weekend was packed full of excitement, our Cod Jigging trip with Saltwater was the highlight for everyone.The vessel is spacious and in like new condition. We had ample room on the stern to accommodate (4) jiggers, crew and mutiple others watching the excitement.Both experiences began with complete accommodation from the Saltwater Team coordinating booking times. From the second we arrived at the wharf to the conclusion filleting the fish they catered to our every need.Nick, Katie and thier crew are truly passionate about sharing their pride for the Newfoundland culture, scenery and natural resources. I would recommend everyone putting Saltwater Society on their Avalon Peninsula bucket list!Thanks for all the wonderful memories we took off the boat with us.
