River City Early Learning Centre

My guy started going to this daycare when it first opened and he loves it. Amber and all of the ladies in the daycare are amazing with the kids and they do so much and learn constantly. My son loves that he gets to play outside and go for grand adventures.We are so thankful that we were able to find Amber who not only became a childcare provider but also a wonderful friend.

River City is the best day care we have found in Kamloops. The employees are awesome; my son talks about how much fun he has with individual staff daily. Management seems to have a great working relationship as they are always there. The River City team treats our son with respect and allows him to be himself while still teaching him concepts of life. He comes home with stories and different activities to hang on our wall on the daily! River City doesn’t stay inside either: nature walks are regular and the kids are always outside. I don’t pick my son up at the door.. I pick him up at the play area, outside. We have gone through quite a few Child Care entities.. this is the right fit and will be for our next child on the way.

Our boys and us absolutely love River City! They spend so much time outside exploring nature and using their bodies in a healthy way. The teachers all love our boys like their own and our children absolutely adore all the people at the Centre. The teachers have taken an active role in our daily lives and especially thanks to Covid we consider them friends who are like family! River City is continuously upgrading amenities and training employees to ensure the very best experience for their families. We have been “clients” in the Infant Toddler room, the 3-5 room, and the Kindy Prep program and we would highly highly recommend any of these for Kamloops families.

This was our second attempt at a daycare for our toddler. The first attempt at a different center wasn’t as nurturing as we had hope and we didn’t last a month. So happy to have found Rivercity! She has so much fun!

Lots of super fun activities, and you can tell that the staff really care about making children happy. Highly recommend!

My son has been at River City Early Learning Centre from the beginning and they are amazing. My little one enjoys all of the employees as they are super attentive to the kids. We get photos sent to us on a regular basis when they are doing activities or something cute ❤. They are always on the go playing outside, going for walks or field trips. They even celebrate every child's birthday which makes it a special place. I would highly reccomend them to anyone looking for an amazing place to send their little ones.

RiverCity is our first ever daycare experience. The entire staff has treated our son like their own and he has grown to adore the centre and everyone there. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a daycare.

This center is truly home away from home. The owner Amber and the rest of the river city team have become a family to my daughter. We have been there since the day it opened, and I am so grateful my daughter gets to be apart of this wonderful facility that has always taken care of her with the best care. It is outdoor based which means the children spend alot of time exploring outside on nature walks, and going on field trips. I could not recommend this daycare enough. My daughter will be going there until she no longer needs childcare!

We have two children at River City and we have experience with 3 of their 4 programs (and our children will also be using their Schooler program when they are older). Our kids spend so much time outside...most days when we pick them up they are joyfully covered in mud or sand. They are encouraged to progress educationally at their own speed and without judgement. All the staff are honest, approachable, loving, and patient. River City Early Learning Centre is an incredible place with incredible people and we recommend the facility to anyone and everyone seeking childcare in Kamloops.
