This review is long overdue. Amir is the talented owner at the Shoe Clinic at 4811 Leslie Street North York. He has been repairing, replacing, adjusting, and fixing all of my shoes and handbags for as long as I can remember. The quality of his craftsmanship speaks for itself. I have never had an issue in all of the 10+ years that I have been going to Amir.He is knowledgeable, reliable and most importantly, honest. He will give you his genuine opinion as to whether it is worth repairing or not. Also not to forget, that he only uses good quality leather and materials to ensure that your your finished product is done to near perfection.I highly recommend Amir to anyone in the neighbourhood who is looking for a trustworthy and and high quality repair shop. I normally do not give reviews like this, but people should know about this great place!

He is an artist! You can trust him with the most expensive, most damaged shoes and he makes a miracle! His communication skills are excellent, very polite and gentle. I have been using his services for the last two years and was never disappointed. He is not cheap but a good service is never inexpensive.

Brought in a several pairs of shoes to get soled. Great craftsmanship, clean lines. Would recommend.

I brought in a butchered dog collar that was ruin by another repair place. knowing there would be little chance of this nice leather collar would be able to be fixed. He was able to be straight up with me and what he can do with the collar. As my request for an hole and adjustments. He was able to do an amazing job and making it look way better than it was before. It works wonderful and no more escaping dog.Good Price, Good Service and Good Work!

I use to go to a shoe repair place in Fairview mall, who was incredible. After they shut down, I needed to find someone just as good.The reviews of this place were great, so I took 4 boots to be cleaned, each in fairly decent shape already, just needing a clean up.I agree with the other customers, service was great and the owner is a really nice person, however the quality of work is just not there.I could tell that he cut some corners, such as not removing shoe laces before he polished the boots.He charged a good amount as well, so I was a bit disappointed with the results in relation.Anyways, I won’t be going back there. On that that note, if anyone knows where the Fairview shoe repair guy went, please let me know.

Excellent services from Amir!! He cleaned my favourite Reebok training shoes that had a pink stain on it. You almost can’t see the stain anymore. I’m extremely pleased with the results and I’m super happy that I found the right place to get shoes cleaned. Highly recommend him for anyone in need.

Just got 3 pairs of new shoes, Amir helped me to put on the rubber protectors. Very impressive, the edges are clean, the rubber is high quality, very happy with this and ready to wear them. Your shoes are in good hands for sure.

Great place to get work done on your boots or shoes. I've brought all my footwear here since coming to Toronto and the service is amazing. The quality of work done for the cost, can't be beat. I even have friends who are planning on coming from 3 hours away just to have their boots done here because the quality and service is so good! If there was a sixth-star id give them an extra one!

Amir is a true master craftsman of his trade and is very knowledgeable. I took a pair of shoes and a duffel bag with a broken strap(yes he fixes bags too) that were more of sentimental value to me and didn't expect him to be able to restore them but he did so with a lot of care and attention made to the process of restoration.Excellent customer customer service and turnaround time and competitive prices. Highly recommended.

Very confused about the good reviews of this place. Came here with several watches that needed various fixes (new batteries, broken glass face) and I would best describe the customer service as shady. Firstly the cost was more expensive than where I used to go, but I just wanted the errand done and did not want to drive to the other place I'd go at 404/Steeles which has different business hours. The gentleman I dealt with couldn't fix a couple of watches because it would cost a lot because they were more intricate watches, fine. He didn't offer to refund me the cost I had paid up front to fix the watches until I brought it up that I want my money back given he couldn't do anything on the watches. He took a very long time to fix a couple of the watches (several weeks) because there is another watch person that comes in that works with him, fine. But he didn't call me to update me and suggested that he had called me and my voicemail wasn't working. I have never heard from someone else that there is a problem with my voicemail. There wasn't any missed calls. Finally there was one watch he fixed that the back of the watch fell off when I put it on. It wasn't secured back properly. He needed to bring in another person to properly affix the backing. It took 4 weeks for this backing to just be put back on and he kept mentioning that he was doing this for me free of charge like it was a favour to me that he was fixing the work he didn't sufficiently complete. As a busy mom I was hoping for a one-stop place to help me complete a task and it turned into a giant drawn out headache. Would not return.
