Cannot recommend Nigel and Robin at Brookspeed rental highly enough. Few reasons why for the discerning customer and rider:- great selection of motorcyles which are IMMACULATELY maintained and in some cases subtlety improved on from stock. All come with panniers and ample storage- Nigel has clearly been riding his whole life and knows two wheel vehicles front to back, a beyond proficient mechanic- great recommendations for local rides and he has ALL the gear any rider needs, including jackets, helmets, gloves, rain gear, meaning you don’t have to fly in with your bulky stuff- fantastic customer service and professionalism. They answer the phone promptly every time, all day and Nigel is able to pick you up and drop you off at the bus station in townOverall, 10/10 and even if there were a plethora of options in the province (they is not) I would STILL choose Brookspeed over all of them.

I have just rented a Kawasaki Versys from Nigel and had a great time riding the Cabot Trail, PEI and New Brunswick. The whole rental experience was excellent, the bike worked flawlessly and allowed me to check these items off my bucket list. The rental option is a much better choice than riding my own bike from home. Nigel's route suggestions have added to the success of this trip.

There aren’t many motorcycle rental places in Nova Scotia, so Nigel Brooks’ shop is all the more remarkable. Friendly, professional, helpful and knowledgeable, Brooks keeps a stable of well maintained motorcycles that he rents at very reasonable prices. Gear is offered at no extra cost. I can’t wait to ride the Cabot Trail again!

Great motorcycle rental. Nigel is very friendly and supportive. The rental fee includes all the necessry gear. Damages to the bikes are managed professionally. Nigel is an absolute petrolhead and loves bikes. He has some very cool old bikes in his garage. Well worth a look. Can absolutely recommend Nigel‘s motorcycle rental. Very pleased with the service from Nigel and Robin from the booking to driving us back to our hotel in Truro! Best experience ever!!! We travel through the East Coast and the highlight of our trip was on our rental motorcycles doing the Cabot trail and travelling to PEI! A must do! We are planning our second trip on the motorcycles soon!!!

Some friends and I rented bikes from Brookspeed for a four day trip around the Cabot Trail and surrounding area. Everything from start to finish was amazing - the booking was very easy to handle, Nigel picked us up from our hotel in town, the shop, bikes and gear were all immaculate and in pristine shape, and Nigel was excellent to deal with. It was clear from the moment we started talking to him that he loves bikes, knows everything there is to know about them, and would never send anyone out on a bike that wasn’t maintained to the highest standard. We will absolutely be back to rent from Brookspeed again to try out some of the other routes Nigel recommended!

Just wrapped up a 2 days trip through Cape Breton on a Kawasaki Vulcan S. Nigel was great to work with and provided many valuable tips and suggestions. Nigel has a nice selection of gears to choose from and even though I brought most of my own equipment I ended up borrowing boots and a helmet and they worked very well. The bike was in excellent shape and ran flawlessly. Highly recommended and I am looking forward to returning to NS and renting a bike from Nigel again.

My buddy visited me here from Southern Ontario so we could ride the Cabot Trail, which has always been a bucket list item for us. Brookspeed made it possible with their selection of bikes that are perfectly suited to the area and equipped for the task.Nigel and Robin were perfectly friendly and accommodating, giving us great location and route tips. They had all the gear my buddy needed having flown in with little luggage... It was all clean and fresh too.If you're thinking about a bike trip in the Maritimes, I highly recommend you book a rental with them, we had a great experience. It was like borrowing a motorcycle from a friend! You'll certainly see us again.
