Really nice spot to relax and go for a swim! A good amount of money has been spent on this location. Great for a family day out. The swimming area is buoyed and there is a lifeguard during the summer.

Public beach on a very pretty lake. The water was clear and I could see what looked like trout swimming right on the edge of the swim area. The beach has changing rooms and portolet available. There is also a canteen where you can purchase food and drink. Within walking distance is a floating dock to launch a kayak. A boat ramp is also very close. A good amount of parking is available. A nice place to spend a summer afternoon.

Shade, canteen, ample bathrooms, waste bins, perfect water height for young and old, nice walkway, very well kept and clean. Best maintained and best planned small lake beach I've been to in NS thus far.

Aylesford Lake Beach
This is so far my favorite beach in Nova Scotia. Water is warm, huge playground for little kids to play at, very clean, lifeguards are on watch and picnic tables are available around. Love it!

Best public lake beach I’ve been to in NS thus far! It’s really clean and well-maintained. They’ve got lifeguards, a canteen, clean change rooms and porta potties, picnic sheds, a boardwalk by the sandy beach, playground for the kiddos, garbage and recycling bins all along the shoreline, etc. It’s got everything you need in a beach and more!
