Great friendly service even for small amounts of cash and no waiting. I wanted to exchange small amounts ($25.00 each) of CDN for 4 different Central American currencies. No problem at all. The lovely lady showed me each currency, rounded close to $25, and the exchange rate for each. They had all currencies on hand as well as $500 USA funds and all at a good rate, way better than my bank. This was at about 12:30 on a Thursday.

This branch has interesting staff. I talked to one of the staffs about my personal life and gave me some useful life advice like a therapist. They had really great service and helped me exchange $100 USD into Canadian.

Over the years I've found that this currency exchange business offers the most competitive rates whether you are buying/selling. Also, the staff at this South Granville location is very helpful; even if they are busy, their customer service is excellent. Please note that as of August 2021, this currency exchange business has relocated to the NW corner of West Broadway and Granville St.

Fast, efficient FOREX conversion and transfer service. Fantastic staff. Jeffrey Wong was awesome helping me navigate a complex and time sensitive set of transactions.

Slowest service you can imagine. 45 minutes to count half my money not including the lineup. If you have things to do, avoid this location at all costs.

Great service at this location. I wanted to exchange my USD to CDN after moving back. I went to the metrotown branch a few weeks prior. They said the best rate was to get a bank draft. I thought that was strange since I had the cash on hand ready to exchange.I wasted my time going to bmo metrotown where they said you actually needed to open an account for the USD to be moved around and then they would issue the bank draft. I went to another bmo for that appointment but they said they can also just directly deposit the USD into your account and exchange it that way but the rate was a lot lower than just exchanging cash directly at vbce.Thinking that the west pender location was open on Saturday (as stated on google) I wasted my time again going there only to find that it was actually closed.Decided to go to this location instead since I was already on Granville in downtown. The teller accepted my USD in cash and issued a Cheque at my request. Overall good experience here but not at the other locations since I got the run around.

Good rates. Note that the Granville location has moved and is now on the north-west corner of Broadway.

I called to inquire if this location was open, having passed by the location seeing a “for lease” sign.Upon waiting for over 10 minutes for a representative to respond, I was told the “Granville and Broadway location is open until 5:00.” I asked for the representative to double check and was told it was open.I arrived to the location with the doors locked and the location was completely gutted inside.Wasted a full 45 minutes. Taking my business elsewhere.

Recently had a requirement for a large Fx exchange, a friend put me in touch with Jeffrey Wong at the Broadway location. Jeff was very responsive on e-mail and we set things up, on the day he met me at the office and I avoided the long wait, the transaction was swift and professional with a competitive rate. I needed the money swiftly and he guided me on the best way to get the money where it was needed - everything went smoothly, great service!
