Staff and owner were friendly and helpful especially with check-in and suggestions on things to do in the area. Rooms were unique and impeccably clean. Hotel was located in a very convenient location with food, parks, and parking all within walking distance.

Great stay here working in the area. Great location by the river with good restaurants close by. Wi-Fi was good, clean room and nice atmosphere. I found the bed too firm for me.

We had a lovely stay at the Egan Inn, in the Bonnechere Suite. Beautiful view from our window of the river at the Fifth Chute. Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. We also enjoyed the mouthwatering food at the Axe and Paddle while visiting this cute town.

We got lost and did arrive soaking wet as we drove in on our motorcycle. Sadly we tock a wrong turn. It was pouring rain still when we arrived at 10:30 PM!. There was no coffee, tea or microwave. No place to order food from. The Worst part was that they did not include a check in or check out time on our booking verification or posted on our door. Although we did not arrive until 10:30 at night they added a 50 dollar additional charge because we checked out at 2 instead of ? (Actually I still don't know the check out time) A housekeeper didn't knock & instead of providing a curtisy call to our cell they kept silent! We were the only guests. We left the room very clean & left a nice tip for the housekeeping staff. There is no staff on site. U are given a code to enter and need wifi or data unless you remember to record it. The lady on the cell was rude and during the Covid 19 crisis, combined with the fact that we did not utilize the room all day or evening Saturday they still charged an additional 50. The tub is just a tube so don't think you will enjoy a jacuzzi. No coffee or tea, no bubble bath and the variety of channels are awful. I know everyone is struggling and it's hard for business at this time. However we only utilized the room for a short duration. They did not need to charge extra $. No other guests were waiting. A courtesy call would have been the ethical thing to do. As a large following on YouTube, I will give a similar review unless they fix this. DO NOT stay at the EAGAN INN! NOT EVEN CLOSE TO WORTH the HIGH PRICE!

I really liked the Egan Inn for my one-night stay passing through town. The room was welcoming and warm (even though it was the dead of winter). The cons were: the arms were worn on the chairs, there was an empty wine bottle in the TV cabinet, the TV is a tube TV which seems really unnecessary since flat TV's are inexpensive, the blinds on the window next to the toilet was broken and I'm sure everyone outside could see in through the light translucent curtain, I didn't realize the bathtub area had no heat and I had closed the door at night so by the morning the room was freezing for my shower, there was no mouthwash or anything beyond soap and hair wash - I forgot toothpaste and nothing is open late. The pros were: huge tall ceilings, deep tub, lots of towels, beautiful floors, interesting accent hardware, stunning curtain fabric, quiet, nice view, friendly staff, mini fridge in room, free parking across the street. I think this place would be nice for a brief getaway or if travelling through town.

Wonderful room. Very Clean and the bed was excellent. We stayed in the john Egan room which had a little kitchenette with coffee supplied from Fifth Chute coffee shop below. Amazing coffee shop below that sold the best breakfast sandwiches. Eggs bacon and cheese on a scone. The best cappuccino around. This is not your average run of the mill place to stay. More like a beautiful boutique hotel on the banks of the Bonnechere River.Easy access with coded entry and no keys to worry about.
