Family-owned and operated business of knowledgeable geeks who just want to nerd out with everyone who comes into their shop. Lots to look at, you could easily spend an hour in there looking around. They will do holds and orders in some collectibles. Competitively priced, and the service is Shay’s very friendly and professional! They’re also very engaged in social media, so you can see product drops and check in on holiday hours and unexpected closures.

Such a great spot. They had a bunch of comics and graphic novels that I hadn't seen before. Amazing, and diverse selection plus their prices are super reasonable. I am visiting from the interior and my friend recommended that I stop in. I am very glad I did, I will be visiting again on my next trip down.

Big Pete is amazing and SO GOOD with kids! So many smiling faces when they leave the store. I’ve also seen Pete give little bonus items to kids for free! The kindest guy you could ever meet! Thanks for being the comic shop I’ve gone to since I was a toddler and the comic shop I am going to take my little one to!

The people there are amazing, very helpful. They have everything you can imagine, that goes along the nerdy side of life. Good store, good quality things. I recommend going there for MTG cards and nerdy hats.

I’ve been here at least a few times now and it has never been a pleasant experience. We are greeted only to make sure we wear masks (Currently 2023 and no mask mandates) but they aren’t even nice about it, it’s more of a demand and feels unwelcoming during the entire visit at the store. I see them being nice to the adult customers but rude to the kids. It’s a shame because we wanted to enjoy this store but it’s always unsettling coming here. We gave it a few shots and have always had the same treatment so we won’t be back.

One of my favourite stores to visit. Not only does the selection of comics, cards, collectibles and more make my blood rush with joy.. but the staff always have a good chuckle or two to offer.If you're looking for top shelf products with superb customer service, this is the place.Thanks Pete and team for all the years of providing extra bit of happiness to the North Shore !

I’ve only been in the store once n it’s a place that is so hard to walk away not getting anything… I’m wondering if the store buys comic book collections .. all r in good condition that I’ve had since the 90s.. from gen13, Simpsons,spawn,& d newer ones r the box set of Batman: death of the family, marvel zombies,& some more that I can’t remember atm..Does anyone know where I can sell all of my collections?
