A disappointing beginning to the day and the end of a long trip.As having somewhat of a captive audience a traveller would HOPE that they would expect to pay understandably somewhat premium prices at an airport and in return would receive basic quality food. Sadly this is NOT the case here.A fairly simple breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon and toast arrived with an almost omelette layer of eggs tepid in temperature. The toast was still PALE and COLD with not even a hint of toasting and not even buttered. WHO DOES THAT??????Butter was given in little plastic tubs.If I hadn't been so close to my flight time I would have sent this abomination back to the kitchen. The coffee and the service was good thank goodness!!!!

Sign said seat yourself, so I grabbed a table by the bar. Waited almost 40 minutes before I was even acknowledged by any staff. I stole a menu and that’s when they came to my table and asked if I decided on what I wanted yet. I told the waitress that no one has even taken my drink order yet but all good, flight is delayed. Food didn’t take that long to arrive but I basically received an overpriced bun with bacon and egg on it and tater tots.I’ve witnessed almost every single table get frustrated they are not receiving service and then walk up to the bar trying to pay, and wait upwards of 15 minutes just to pay. One couple came in and ordered coffee to go but left after 20 minutes of waiting. Multiple people came, sat down, and chose to leave after staff didn’t even acknowledge them.If I was on a time crunch I’d probably be raging like everyone else, but my flight is delayed hours so watching all these people freak out is starting to be comical.

$20 Breakfast was edible at best. My major issue was with the service. My server, Anna E, was rude from the get go. Zero smile and not at all friendly. She gave me attitude when I asked if they had hot sauce. And never once came to ask how things were or to offer a refill on my beverage. However I know she was watching, as she came over instantly once it was time to pay the bill. Honestly it was very slow so there's absolutely no excuse. She should find another profession if being polite, nice, and smiling at customers is beyond her skill set. In conclusion, I miss the airport Stella's! Do not bother eating at Prairie Bistro, you will undoubtedly be disappointed.

Fries burned and stale. Garlic bread without garlic. No sauce even if it says on the menu. Soup worse than at Timmy's. Service drops food and runs away... avoid if can, if can't, don't have your hopes up...

I don’t understand why other reviews are so negative. I came from Edmonton, no problem with the service and the BLT is better than average restaurants in Edmonton. The fries are a bit soft.

It was busy today and they were understaffed, or it was simply bad service. Coffee was terrible, no refill and not even a glass of water offered with my breakfast. Worst part $4 for coffee that was an embarrassment to the coffee industry. The meal though was great, I will state that.

The prairie burger cost like $20 and its a prefab patty. If it werent for the bacon and cheese it would have had no flavour. The bourbon old fashioned I had was just bourbon ice orange peel and a cherry. If I wanted to drink bourbon straight I would have drank at home.

I ordered fries and gravy. I was given a few fries and no gravy. I had to ask for gravy. When the gravy came. It was in a dirty bowl. There was very little of it. I had to pay $17 plus tip at the time of ordering. The food was average at best. When the food arrived, it came without napkins or cutlery. Not something you would expect from a sit-down restaurant that charges $17 for fries and gravy. There are much better options at the airport. In summary, I would suggest you don't go here.

Having a full Bacon & Egg breakfast before a flight is a terrific option, thanks to Prarie Bistro I enjoyed just that! Efficient service, delicious food, and fair prices. Even options for a low fat meal, That’s impressive, right?!
