Guelph Paving

Guelph Paving repaved our driveway this fall and I must say they did an outstanding job! They took their time making sure the base was solid and all edges were nice and straight. They sloped the driveway just right allowing the rain water to run away from the house efficiently. They even built up the driveway in front of the shed so I no longer need a ramp to move the snowblower in and out which was a pleasant surprise. After making a huge mistake hiring a guy going door to door and totally doing a substandard job I gave Guelph paving a call. Further talking with the owner I was scheduled in . The substandard driveway was ripped out and replaced with a properly installed quality driveway that will last for years .Each and everyone of the crew were highly professional. We contracted Guelph Paving to repave our driveway and replace a brick walkway. I found their price reasonable and the quality of the work very good. Everyone who came to our house was polite and professional, including the estimator, and the subcontractor who did the brick work. They stuck to their original price even when we requested a small last-minute adjustment to the work, which was very nice.The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is that we had some problems with communication. The brickwork subcontractor showed up at our house with no advance warning at all - no one even tried to call or email first. It was just fortunate that I was home sick that day, because they showed up without the drawings I had provided, and lacking any specific direction would have just replicated the layout of the old walkway if I had not been there to provide the correct plan.When they decided they wanted to do the asphalt, I was out of town and missed two emails from Guelph Paving over two days trying to schedule the work the next day, but instead of trying to call or text, they again sent a crew to our house unexpected, only to find my cargo trailer in their way. I complained about them showing up again without informing me, and was told they had sent about a dozen" emails

Had our old asphalt driveway ripped out and new asphalt installed. They did a beautiful job. Left no mess behind on our property and even swept up any debris left on the road. Very impressed with the quality of work and I highly recommend Guelph Paving to anyone who has high expectations.

*We had our driveway repaved last summer and had a few concerns after the work was completed they were ignored, we have notived that it is super soft even a year later any stone, or any thing left ont he drive way more than a few minutes leave deep marks. it has sunken in around the edges and had a large ridge with crack. They have not been responding out our emails or phone calls to get it looked at or repaired. very poor quality. do not recomend.* 3 weeks after writing this review they did reach out and offer to fix the small sinking corner they refused to address the overall softness of the driveway. and said that they could not see the tire depressions that are visible. this review is 100% accurate they only noticed this review months later. once again slow to respond. I have had another company out and they said it shows signs it was a soft mix and the peice the ly replied is a different consistency than the rest of the driveway.

Very pleased with all aspects of our driveway paving! Very reasonable price. The workers were friendly and professional and all our questions were answered promptly. They promised to get the work done by the end of the season - and made it happen!
