Pinewood Orchard

I took my toddler apple picking today and we had a blast! My vegan family loves that this orchard doesn't have a petting zoo like most other orchards do. The apples are delicious and the staff was all super friendly!

Loved the place, fresh apples and great people. The only reason to give a 4 star is it wasn't with paths that would be friendly for people with stroller, wagon or carts. It would be great to have at least one of the pathways in and out to be cleared from the bushes and spiky plants.Nice and fresh vegetables were also available from the shop and apple cider vinegar too. We had a great time

Great place to spend time with family. Kids loved it. The apples taste great. We liked the honey as well.

Going apple picking is a great way to spend a Saturday or Sunday morning. Not too crowded when we arrived, but definitely gets busier as the day goes on, I recommend coming early.During our visit they had Macintosh and Cortland apples.Price is by size of bag, not weight so fill up the bags as much as you like! A small bag will cost you $20 and a large bag is $35.

They have a good variety of apples that taste fresh but there's a lot of nats. Some of the trees are worn down.

We - both the adults and the kid’s - had a blast. Apples at all heights for the short and the tall. The lobos were my favourite. They also have “apple pickers” - large poles with baskets to help you get the apples on the tallest branches. Don’t wear sandals/flip flops if you intend to pick apples - lots of fallen apples to step around under the trees.They give you a bag on the way in - large or small available, pay on your way out with your bag full of apples.We will definitely go back next year - and I will probably wear some bug spray. Also, I didn’t see this market all the other reviews speak of! How did I miss it?! Maybe they need some signs or a big map at the entrance. I would also recommend labelling the trees / marking the area for each kind of apple - all the tags were very faded or missing completely. Didn’t take away from our experience though!

It is a fun place for both adults and kids. They have two sizes of apple bags. The big one is $35 and the small one is $20 (2022). The big one is more than double of the small one. I got lots of apples even with the small one. They have a store selling apples and different vegetables like garlics, potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes. They also sell apple juice. All the prices are reasonable or good. I had a very good experience there.

I liked it, brought my dog and even though they aren't allowed in the orchard we still were able to walk around and there were pre picked apples for those not able to pick their own. Lots of veggies & pumpkins, cider and honey available as well.The staff were very friendly and helpful!

It is a very nice place to everyone for apple picking. You will enjoy picking your own apples and have a nice walk between the apple trees.
