Amazing 5 star service received from Shelly today at this location. She took the time to understand the need that brought me to the store and offered some options. She provided gentle and respectful guidance to lead me in purchasing the products that I needed. She provided clear explanations and offered expert advice on how best to care for the products to sustain their optimal values.Due to her professionalism, her expert knowledge of the products and her genuine kindness to assist customers with the best of her abilities, I purchased additional products today from this location!Kudos, Shelly! Keep up the excellent service!

Good location, and friendly staff. My only problem with Purdy's in general is their chocolates being a bit hit or miss. I've absolutely loved some and been repulsed by others. Don't know if it's just flavor or quality control or what, but considering the higher price, it can be annoying when you get something unpleasant.

Imagine my surprise and joy when I saw a Purdy's in Ottawa after thinking they were only a Vancouver thing.I just knew I had to get an ice cream cone! I got the chocolate ice cream with almond topping and it was so good. Ice cream is always a good idea and even more so if it's from Purdy's.Service was great and I got to eat in the mall in the corner due to covid.

Your standard Purdys with rapt tasty offerings at decent prices. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

I recently had the pleasure of spending time with Chocolate Connoiseur Pearl who very thoughtfully helped me create a small party favour for guests who attendeded a baby shower my daughter in law and I held to celebrate the upcoming birth of my darling grand daughter.The dark chocolate covered soft caramel with Pink Himalayan Salt and the milk chocolate Hedgehog tied up with pink baby feet ribbon delighted everyone!

Children’s favourite. The chocolate is very decadent. The service is always quick and they have a large selection of chocolates.

A little bit on the expensive side. 3 cones for 19$ for a single scoop. Not a lot of flavours to choose from but the ice cream they have is very good. Would definitely recommend it.

Really love the chocolate here and that’s why I left Laura Secord however the customer service at this one is hit and miss. Occasionally friendly. If not rude though, simply not paying attention to customers. I didn’t see any almost-perfects (discounted but still FABULOUS chocolate) out so I asked And the young lady behind the counter handed me the only pack in the store. GREAT! But I didn’t know what Haystacks were, so I asked, to which she said “They’re almond and toffee” which sounds delicious but then I asked “Ou, are they good?” and she kinda sarcastically said “Well If you like almonds and toffee..yeah?”..not really the answer I was looking for but it’s okay. Not like I’ve tried every single chocolate type here but whatever. Only reason giving a 4-star and not a 3 is because this is ACTUALLY the best chocolate.Anyway, might keep coming back sadly because I live in Orleans but maybe hire friendlier staff for weekends.

I love Purdy’s chocolates, but this shop doesn’t live up to the brand. The selection is very hit and miss and the staff are neither attentive nor overly friendly. Better to eat the shipping cost and buy online.

I absolutely love the chocolates from Purdys. I always get a custom box and this is our go-to gift for friends and family in the US. I love that they have special boxes for specific occasions and also options for sleeves you can add to your box.
