Employee of this organization came in to coffee shop asking for first responder discount. When asked if he worked for the fire department he responded “yes” when really is a technician working for a contractor checking fire alarm/sprinkler system. Shameful.

I live in this area and operate a small business, so I wanted to give business to local business instead to further GTA area.Walk-in to inquire about barrier free washroom system (to meet new Ontario building code requirement), as Aurora Electric Supply refers me to this nearby store when I ask for reference.I'm not sure whether the store only handle contractor or public, but in fact, it does open for public. I am greeted by 2 employees, and bring into a meeting room to specify my exact requirement.From the decor, this shop is handling both small to large scale fire, burglary, auto door system, handicap system, as well as universal barrier free washroom.Their homepage has a long list of manufacturer they deal with. It is just a simple informational homepage, yet it gives me good understanding what products they carry.Within 2 hrs, employee immediately provided me a quote in e-mail and follow up phone call. This is a great response time, wide variety of products, and I will refer to others in future.

What is our world coming to that someone feels the need to bash a company because one of their workers asked for a coffee discount. I have 240 people that work for me and do you think I and my company name should be responsible for everything they say or do outside of the workplace. M + L is a fine company that provides an excellent service to their customers. In the future please don't be so petty over what maybe worth what.0.50 cents.
