A friendly, genuinely welcoming and vibrant church community. The pastor, Fr. Raymond Lafontaine, was a professor of mine some 16 years ago and he was always warm and hospitable. I now live in Ottawa, but my mother lives just around the corner from the church and I have visited on a handful of occasions when I'm back home.

This is my old church when I lived in Montreal up to the time I was a young man. Went back in Montreal and attended mass at St. Monica's. The service and music were beautiful. Loved it! Also, it was nice to see Fr. Bertoli who was serving at the church all through my youth and also taught at my school, Loyola High School. Great memories.

Recently contacted this parish with ample notice for a special mass for my mother recently passed away.Was told by the secretary that we cannot mention my mothers name at the mass ceremony because they are already booked to the Maximum.We wentTo mass Sunday July 8th at11:00 Am and we counted and they mentioned only 5 people . Maximum per mass .Very dissapointed that they turn away people for religious services requested by the family,even though they charge for this service!
