Dollarama

Such a bad experience! Lady with a hijab tonight said they had no garbage bins for me to discard my coffee cup. Store was dirty, products on the floor. Very uninviting! Won’t visit it again!

I have never had such a bad experience in a dollarama before. The security guard followed me and my daughter through an incredibly busy store standing right beside us staring us down for the entire 10 minutes we were inside the store. And then then proceeded to stand beside me while I paid. Couldn’t even be bothered to watch us discreetly. Not one thing about me or my kid suggested we should be followed. Absolutely disgusting that someone can treat people so bad.

Value customers time PLEASE!Dear Dollarama Customer Service,I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the poor customer service I received at your store located at 6520 Falconridge Blvd NE, Calgary, AB. On 23/03/14 at 20:27:57, I visited your store to purchase an item. I only wanted to grab one specific thing because i was in a hurry and I was extremely disappointed with the way I was treated by one of your employees.The incident took place at the checkout counter when I approached the employee to ask for assistance with my purchase. There were three people using the self-checkout machines and two people waiting in a queue. I didn't have any other choice other than walking to the cashier. The cashier was sweeping the area where she stands. Despite my request for help, the employee refused to provide any assistance and stated that I should wait in the queue like everyone else. I felt humiliated and ignored.Later the cashier had to assist me because the waiting line was extending.I believe that this behavior is completely unacceptable and does not align with the high standards of customer service that Dollarama is known for. I would like to request that appropriate action be taken to ensure that this kind of situation does not happen again in the future.

A very busy parking lot most days and most times if the day. The store is clean and well stocked. Most of the staff are friendly.Not a huge fan of the cash area. They have 4 self serve tills mixed in with a large counter still physical cashiers. While there is usually a cashier watching the self server tills, there is typically another cashier also standing behind the counter but doing nothing and the line for check out becomes quite long. It also can be frustrating to self check out a large purchase when the self cash is constantly telling you the item wasn’t detected on the scale after you scan it OR the weigh area isn’t big enough to fit all your bagged items so you don’t end up bagging everything until after you’ve paid and you’re just holding up the line. Self serve should be for quick purchases 5 items or less type thing.

This place would be so much better if they hired more people, boxes everywhere, juice spilled all over the racks, very dirty floor and overall a very dirty store. I just bought a sunnyD juice from it and it was all sticky and gross. Please clean your store more or hire more people to do such jobs

It's very dirty, not mopped, no one available on checkout, forced to use self-checkout. It's eliminating jobs. Shelves were empty, boxes were on the floor. Nothing was sorted. Not enough staff. Usually single person or two most of the time I visited.This dollarama used to be good, but it has declined its quality in the last couple of months.What's happening?Is it going to be closed?

I don’t even what to give a single start to this store. I don’t know who hire this new manager in the store I usually go to this store very often. Seen this crazy guy recently he don’t have any manners he is so so rude with me and even with his employees I saw him taking so rude to them. Please you have is the higher authority please sort out this crazy manager I don’t know his name he is small height guy and he wear glasses.

They are very nice and polite. They help me to switch table clothes cover which I bought a week ago they made my day with it. Ajfar Albukai and kartik really nice staff and I really appreciate their customer service.

Amazing Visit! I live a bit far away so I had personally never been to this dollar store, But I am so delighted that I did come. The girl in the hijab at cashier was so respectful and kind towards my kids and made jokes with them. My kids had me asking if we could go back :) She made our visit so nice! Definitely will come again!

The worst customer service i have ever seen in Dollarama the guy named ankit so rudely came to my wife and said go to till store is closed now are you serious then why you are letting people in close the store at 8:45 so that you can go home at 9:00 pm .Even i understand they are in rush but at least speak politely.They need to learn how to talk politely and respectfully.Not everyone is same.
