Don’t have your Uber eats on if there’s no chef to cook the food. I’m waiting almost an hour for my order to be made when I could have ordered from somewhere else and had my food already. Quite ridiculous and selfish to be accepting orders with no one to cook the food. Wasting peoples time.I had the chili chicken lunch special and it was made fresh, tasty, and spicy. Good value as it came with a pop. Service was quick and prompt. I haven’t tried any of their other items on the menu

Golden Joy is fantastic! Owned by two of the loveliest people ever, who are very supportive of their neighbourhood. The food is always hot, fresh and delicious. Really love the Manchurian Tofu and the Veg fried rice, but honestly everything is great. Vegan friendly menu and they're very flexible about dietary restrictions. Can't say enough good things about these folks, you definitely won't regret ordering from them!

Golden Joy will top your list of favourite Hakka flavours no matter what.You can always expect the authentic Hakka touch and consistency, as this establishment is O/O by a Hakka Family.Also, they provide you the ability to tweak your order(for i.e less salt, less oil etc...)They offer a affordable menu with great service that is always the best and never rushed. A lunch special is offered until 3PM which turns into a dinner special when ordered after 3pm.

We went in because reviews were good. We walked out wondering how this place is still open. Hot n sour Soup was white and bland; tasteless and even adding soy sauce and chilli vinegar did not do anything. The beef chilli dry was decent, could have been better. We asked for water and she put two glasses in front of us. I don’t have any words but really disappointed in service, the look & feel of the place and food is not that good either.

Very helpful and friendly staff, the receptionist helped me order some great items especially the Spices & Pepper Shrimp (Dry) which was very tasty along with the chilli chicken. Once again i appreciated the smiles and the great customer service, this is definitely my new local Hakka joint. FYI came to this spot based on their reviews.

I order chili chicken today after seeing many good reviews but I don't like it much. .I ask the girl to put extra gravy and make it spicy even the soup and fried rice I order wasn't exceed my expectations. The food was tasteless. I wish the owner upon checking my review will resolve the issue by offering me something unless I will never ever order from them.

Delicious food, friendly staff.We ordered the general Tao chicken, Kung pao chicken Golden Joy crispy beef, house special noodles. It all tasted great and would recommend, even the chef came out to greet us. Extremely friendly staff.

I ordered the Manchurian Chicken and I found it WAY too saucy and sweet. The flavor I found not great compared to other Hakka restaurants. At least the quantity was good.

We've moved very far from this area so I can't come here very often. Every time we look for Hakka food near our new location, we miss Golden Joy. Their chicken pakora and chili chicken are the best I've ever tasted, and I've tried quite a few Hakka restaurants in the GTA.

I like this restaurant. If you want to have a taste of Indian Chinese you must try this restaurant. I ordered chill chicken and bombay chicken both the dishes were amazing. The chicken fried rice was also too. The noodles lacked a little bit of taste. Their manchurian sauce was also delicious.I had also ordered egg roll but we got veg spring roll instead that was little disappointing. The quantity is good enough for the price.The only thing I don’t like is their packaging. They do not have microwave safe containers so it becomes difficult to heat food.
