I have been coming to see the beautiful and awesome Nancy (the owner) for many years now :)She does a fantastic job on my hair every single time. She assessed it when I first came there (and always does a good check on my hair health each time since), she gives me good information on how to help keep it healthy, which products are naturally good (my hair type is semi thick, loose afro) and also best ways to style it to avoid damage.I’ve come in for trims, hair cuts, root colour/touch ups, interlock braid extension with loose curled extensions that looked wonderful! The extensions stayed in place, was great for my scalp as I could still wash and dry my own hair within the extension easily. When it was time to take them out (mine lasted almost four months - as my hair grew) it was easy.She is thoughtful, kind, knowledgeable, funny, professional and a beautiful person. Nika, Danny and the whole Anim team are wonderful! It’s like going to hang out with friends, they’re good keeping with schedule and help all their customers best as they can.They do kids hair to adults with various hair types and needs. They have some products for purchase there also. Everyone is welcome (as long as they are conducting themselves in good nature as people should anywhere), it’s a great place, easy to get to and I highly recommend!

Junior cut my sons hair and did an amazing job. 10/10 service here as well.

I went in on New Year’s Eve to get a silk press and colouring. The lady who helped me was really friendly, she helped me pick the right color for my hair. I left feeling happy and satisfied with my new look. The entire staff was really nice too. I definitely recommend

My new go-to salon for sure! Love the location, atmosphere and vibe. Shianne hooked me up with really awesome braids for my vacation, and I will definitely be seeing her again.

Received really poor service here in terms of the quality of having a retwist done (which lasted only three days). I could tell that the job was poorly done as soon as I saw my hair and realized that even after just getting retwisted, it just looked messy. The young lady that did my hair was really sweet which is why I decided to give this two stars, however the owner (I’m assuming it was the owner) decided to charge me for full price even though my technician was 20 minutes late for the service and they have a policy about anyone arriving 10 to 15 late for the appointment. On top of that the price originally discussed was not the price I paid for. I generally don’t make major issues with these types of situations because I know when I receive poor service and then unjustly treated, it will usually turn around on the business with time. In the mean time, I will let everyone know about the deplorable service received.

Anim has such a family vibe to it, you go in there and you feel at home getting a haircut. The service is great and so are the personnel as well. I don’t know about you but I don’t have a reason to not go back!

My hair is. difficult to cut and colour Nancy did a fantastic job colouring, foiling and styling my hair. She is the only hairdresser that has been able to completely cover my orange and red tones. And my hair cut was great, easy to work with
