Great amenities and close to Uni. Hard to find something better than this.

Theyll shut the internet off on you without warning then say they told you 8 months ago. You now have to pay for it apparently along with a massive rent. And 0 amenties

1. Solstice 2 is easily a money grab - rooms are way over-priced (I am paying 640 - without utilities)2. Be prepared for messy roommates and being able to hear them through the vents and walls. (be prepared to hear everything)3. Internet barely works the first few months from September to November.4. Parking is extra money and with the cost of parking at the university it is not worth it.5. Careful of landlords (dont trust them), they may act all happy and helpful, but they dont care less who you get stuck with or whats wrong with the place... as long as they get paid.- another thing is my landlord illegally made mortgage claims by paying people to pretend like they were living there (adults) instead of us students - he has been reported to Solstice multiple times with no results6. Utilities seem to break down or stop working at least once a week - no hot water means no heating as the heating is done by the water boiler.- We had to get someone to come in and spend 3 hours fixing our ACMitch is a nice dudeClose to bus stop - so thats nice

An Excellent place for students to live during the school year. Has a pizza shop on the bottom level and each room has its own washroom. Great place to live overall

Avoid at all costs. Seems like a good deal, with personal washroom and parking spot but the issues begin with the other people who live in this building. It is marketed as a place for students or young professionals

I never do reviews, but if you can avoid living here please do it. The place is so cheaply made and they do not care about students. Rent is way too high, two of the rooms in each apartment have no window. The air circulation in my unit specifically is so poor that the dry air has caused me multiple ever present symptoms. I have gone to the doctor multiple times over this issue. The internet is poor, the additional facilities it offers are mediocre and were not made available until april 2022 due to covid 19, despite other facilities of the same nature being open for many months. You can hear everything out of everyone’s rooms, and other apartments. My laundry machine broke and trapped my clothes inside for a WEEK before maintenance came to fix it. Mind you, this was after I emailed and called many times and finally had to threaten them with calling another maintenance company and charging them out of my rent. Just do not live here.

The rooms and building itself are fine but the Internet is absolutely terrible. Impossible to stream a show or movie, completely disconnects atleast once every hour.

Centrally located rooming house. It's a condo mostly rented to students. Close to bus.

Looks nice and is convenient-true. But in terms of management and design this place is utter shite. Our apartment was out of wifi for 6 DAYS during midterm season, we repeatedly contacted management over email, on phone and in person, and they never even bothered to call the internet company that they have an account with. Eventually we had to take care of the problem ourselves after a full week without, which we shouldn't have to do. We requested that they give us the month's fee for wifi back, but they didn't even have the professionalism to give us a reply about it. The water boiler breaks down about once a week, on weekends and we're out of hot water for a full day usually. The garbage chute gets clogged up to the THIRD FLOOR. Desk staff aren't even there during office hours some of the time. There's one god-awful room in every apartment that doesn't get an actual window and instead has a window that open to the common room (because it's illegal to not have a window). Do NOT get this room, you can hear everything that happens in the common room like it's happening right beside you. And you can see the kitchen light through the blinds at night. And it's 10x hotter than all of the other rooms so you'll sweat in your sleep while all your other roommates are freezing. Overall, don't be expecting to be treated like anything other than a 2nd class citizen (being that it's crammed with university students), as they only care about milking you for money and don't expect you to have any standard or expectations on quality of living. I have a pretty thick skin, but sometimes this place tests me to the limit. Things fall apart in this place, management moves like a sloth. We have not had hot water since last week, and I'm still waiting.Update: management also cutting corners on internet expense. Building cannot handle current number of connections; Wi-Fi is very unstable and practically unavailable most of the time.
