Chinese Hot Pot Buffet ( 重慶火鍋 ）
Okay..This is actually a nice place to go and eat good food.First you need to know that it is a Hot Pot buffet, essentially means you're cooking your own food, first you select a soup(lamb,chicken, szechuan etc) they'll bring you a broath, there is a small electric stove on your side of the table(press the right button twice to start, and once to stop, left button is to increase temperature)Aside you'll get the protein you've selected.Then you have the salad, sauces and veggies bar, you will also find more protein, you can pick wherever you like and cook it the way you like, I personally had the lamb soup(ordered 3 sides of lamb) with carrots, green onions, cilantro, lime juice and hot sauce, it was delicious.REMEMBER you can order as much as you want, although make sure you could finish it all.The final bill with Tip was $45I didn't order any drinks tho, just water.This could be a good source of good fat if you're going into fasting for 4 days or more.So I'll definitely come backI suggest you make a reservation, the place is busy .The stuff is there to help you at all times.Really nice environment

Went here for the first time and we were super excited. Till we started eating.. Service was horrible. No one served us drinks when we asked.. All of the seafood tasted old, fishy and smelled foul. Then when we wanted to leave and pack up our food we were charged $14 (yes we were aware of the cost knowing I wouldn’t eat all my food) but to stir our pots and basically measure how much was left was disgusting considering we had no service otherwise… over priced and not worth coming to the city for. There are better hot pots in Edmonton then this.

I had a great experience here! The location was great with lots of parking. The inside of the building is huge and very nice with a lot of seating. The staff was helpful and friendly. The food was amazing! The only negative was that I had to wait awhile for the server to bring another sheet by to order food, but it wasn’t a huge deal. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Chinese Hot Pot Buffet ( 重慶火鍋 ）
For sure this one of the best hot pot place in Edmonton. It’s a very busy place, they only take reservations for 10 people plus. Give yourself extra 1/2 hour for waiting in-line to be seated. Kids over 10yrs old is full price. 8 yrs old and under is 1/2 price.Food is delicious and fresh lots of desserts for the kids.

Went as a large group during the holidays and it was a mad house. Getting our soups took a while, which really cut into our two hour time limit. Due to the large number of people in the restaurant, a lot of food was consistently empty at the buffet.Overall the food was still very fresh, just hard to keep everything well stocked.

First time at this hot pot location. The place was packed and parking was really limited. Even with reservations it was a 30 minute wait, which isn't bad.There was a sauce bar with lots of sauces to choose from, unlimited sauces with various mixes that you can make. The veggies, seafood and hot food were all buffet style, so you'd grab as much as you want. The hot food selection was limited as it was a small section.The meat came out at a good speed as it's brought out to you after submitting your order. Order more than you can get at a time, as sometimes they forget your order and give you less than what you wrote.The desert bar was pretty standard with your western deserts, ice cream, and tapioca pudding.Overall: The place was interesting as they're trying to incorporate a buffet style and typical hot pot. Nothing really stood out as it was similar to other hot pot place, but with more selections. The place was really packed, so it was hard to go back and forth for more food.

Drove all the way to Edmonton just to try this very popular hot pot restaurant.The place was packed even at 5PM. I’m glad we got there early enough so we didn’t have to wait long to be seated. About 30 minutes later, the wait to get a table got even crazier.There were a few options of broth and sliced meat was ordered through their servers.There were a lot items on the buffet tables. Everything looked so fresh and of good quality but it was a little overwhelming for me because the self-serve stations were packed with diners the entire time that I felt I wasted a lot of time just to get through the line.Cooked items were plentiful too but most are just fillers. The highlight of the buffet stations was the selections of seafood, especially the shrimps!The 2 hour limit was strictly enforced as we were reminded a few times by the servers that our time was up. A little annoying but I guess they have to do that since there were plenty of people waiting to be seated. If you want to have great conversion with your family and friends while dining, this might not be a good place for you.The entire experience was just ok because you have to get up a few times to get most of the food and it was a little inconvenience in my opinion. The servers were so busy so they were a little hard to find to order more sliced meat.However, I’m glad I tried this place just to see what the fuss is all about.I still prefer the other hot pot place nearby as the experience there is always great and the service is a lot more personal and friendlier. More importantly, the food is always brought right to your table so the dining experience is always seamless.

Visit: April 2023I got the 5 item meal (Tom yum soup, beef, lamb, chicken, spinach, handpulled noodles), which costed $19.95. I felt very satisfied after having these items. There was a good amount for the price. The waiter/waitresses bring you the soup and the items. They also came around a couple of times to fill up our water and top-off our soups.The soup selection is quite large, and the sauce area has a lot of options to choose from and build a sauce with which is great. As well, there are a lot of options to choose from for items, so I feel like there's something for everyoneThe induction stove top has a couple of heating options, but I have to figure out the options since I cannot read Chinese. The staff can provide information on this too.Overall, love this spot for hotpot!

The food was really good and there were a lot of options. Service was fast and didn't leave us wanting. The chicken wings were surprisingly delicious.I do question the sanitation of this place. The raw meats may have been on different trays but there were only 2 tongs for 4-8 trays so lots of chances for cross contamination. We were also not told how long the different items should boil for so we either under or overcooked everything.

This is one of the best Chinese Hot pot in Edmonton . It's located on the Calgary trail. On the outside this restaurant is not impressive and very unassuming . Although the parking area is massive and it's always packed to the full. That should give you an idea how popular this restaurant is. The dress code is casual. The service is good and the staff are very helpful as this kind of restaurant experience is unique.Cost wise I think it's worth the price as we shell out so much for way Smaller portions elsewhere. The meat, fish, veggies are all fresh. The dessert served is very delicious too. The main soup broth has many varieties to choose from with your own level of spice. The buffet is very tasty and there is a lot of choice.I would surely recommend this place. It was very clean.The ambiance was very pleasant. This restaurant is huge and seperate sections are available for personal parties. This place is well managed and the service was very good.Its worth visiting , experiencing and enjoying Hot pot Chinese cuisine.
