We adore Alecia! My partner and I are first time puppy parents and Alecia at MUTTLIFE was integral in setting us up for success. Alecia is incredibly knowledgeable about approaching all sorts of situations and behaviours. On top of that, she’s a great teacher, not just for the pups, but for humans too (and we all know that the humans are the ones that need the most work). She was patient with us and challenged us to think about things from the force-free perspective which makes us consider our puppy’s needs, not just ours. While that seems simple, it was a game changer for us and created such a positive relationship with our puppy, Penny. Penny is now a year old and we still refer to the tools, resources and tactics she shared with us every single day. It’s all proven to be invaluable as our puppy learns, grows and tests boundaries.We’d whole-heartedly recommend Alecia to any puppy parent! Alecia has been such an important part in helping us to strengthen our relationships with our dogs, and make life with them so fulfilling. She is incredibly patient, and her methods are spot on - meaning, they work!! For a quick example: one of our dogs was exhibiting pulling/excitement behaviours when we saw rabbits out on our walks. Alecia gave us the skills to change that behaviour, and our pup no longer even cares when we see a rabbit! Alecia takes the time to really listen to you, and provides incredible feedback. My spouse put it perfectly: Alecia tells you what you need to do to change the behaviour you're seeing, but she does it in this amazing way where she doesn't make you feel bad about what you have been doing. I will recommend Alecia over and over!

Alecia was extremely helpful in the training and upbringing of my pup.She aided in introducing her to a reactive pal and they were able to live harmoniously in the same household (which could not have been done without her).I’m constantly told how well behaved my dog is, and I have Alecia to thank. Alecia is absolutely amazing. After bringing up our concerns and goals for our dog she was able to come up with a training program that was personalized towards not only us and our lifestyle, but our dood and his personality as well.
